Abstract

The invention relates to a cylinder lock, which can be implemented in the field of light industry, especially in the field of the locking devices for residential houses, public buildings etc. The lock is consisting of a cylinder core (2) rotatably mounted in a casing (1) and having a vertical key channel. In the casing (1) and the core (2) are made coaxial cylindrical casing bores (3) and core bores (4), in which are mounted closing pins (5), springs (9) and a combinations of pairs of casing pins (6) - core pins (7) and (8). The path of said pins is limited by means of stops (10) and at least one core pin (8) is modified so that its insertion depth into the key channel of the core (2) is reduced relative to the insertion depth of the other core pins (7). The cylinder lock in accordance with the invention has a number of advantages, as follows: the fixation mode of the core pins does not require special forms of the casing pin and the casing bore, when the cylinder lock is mounted at an angle of 180°, the pin pair having a reduced insertion depth into the key channel remains coupled, thus no necessity exists of using subsidiary elements (magnets and special materials) for the pins.
