The invention relates to methods for excitation of seismic waves in seismo-survey, based on use of electro-magnetism and kinetic energy of rotating body. In the method proposed excitation of seismic waves is achieved wit use of electro-mechanical transformer that consists of active and reactive parts, it includes formation of stock of kinetic energy in reactive part of transformer and transfer of poser effect on medium used investigation with active part mechanically connected to it, with formation and feeding electric pulse to control winding for control of motion of reactive part of the transformer.
