Abstract

The Umbrella Master is a majordomo of rain gears. It’s composed of a microcontroller, Wi-Fi module, relay, temperature & humidity sensor, electric fan, LED strip and application software (APP). The temperature & humidity sensor would measure the degree of humidity for the device. When the humidity is higher than the default value, the relay will turn on the fan. If the humidity is lower than the default value, the fan would be immediately turned off. At the same time, you are able to monitor the temperature and humidity through the APP of cell phone. The Wi-Fi module can access to daily weather forecast network, if the data shows it’s going to rain then the LED strip would be lighted up. Meanwhile, you could decide to take a umbrellawith you or not by seeing the LED signal.
