Description

片材構件之接合方法 發明領域
本發明係有關於一種片材構件之接合方法及片材接合體,更詳而言之,係有關於邊搬送帶狀之片材群邊加以接合之片材構件之接合方法,以及帶狀之片材接合而成之片材接合體。
發明背景
歷來,將帶狀之片材構件連續地供給於加工機並施予加工之場合中,係接著前一個片材構件而將新的片材構件供給至加工機,讓新的片材構件之前端部分接合於前一個片材構件之末端部分而加以進行。
歷來,作為此種接合方法,如第6(a)圖所示,已知有一如下述之方法,即,藉由讓前一個片材構件101之端部與新的片材構件102之端部為對接之狀態,由兩片材之上下兩面貼附黏著帶103以被覆該對接處而接合兩片材構件。
惟,藉由此種方法接合片材構件時,為由片材構件101、102之正反兩面貼附黏著帶103,勢必需要暫時停止兩片材構件之搬送,而有必須中斷片材構件之連續加工的問題。
又,為不停止片材構件之搬送而經常性地維持連續的加工,必須導入僅用以停止接合部分的蓄積器,而為導入此種蓄積器則有需要廣大的設置空間及高額的設備成本之問題。
另一方面,作為接合片材構件群之其他方法,如第6(b)圖所示,亦有如下之提議,即,由前一個片材構件101的上方疊合新的片材構件102,經由預先配置於該新的片材構件102前端部之黏著帶103而接合兩片材後,切斷前一個片材構件101之後側。
依該方法,由於可邊搬送前一個片材構件邊接合新的片材構件,因此具有縱或不使用如前述之蓄積器亦可繼續片材構件之加工的優點。
惟,即便採用後者之方法,若欲邊搬送片材構件邊接合片材構件,仍不易在接合區域端(即黏著帶103之後端)正確地切斷前一個片材構件101,因此不得不在多少有點偏離接合部位的位置進行切斷,其結果,係於前一個片材構件101的後端形成尾部104。
再者,由於張力不會作用於如此形成之尾部104,若搬送該片材構件,可能有該尾部104會破裂,誘發灰塵產生等而招致產品不良之虞。
本發明之一目的係提供一種可邊搬送片材構件並接合二個片材構件,且盡可能地降低製品不良原因的片材構件之接合方法。又,本發明之另一目的係提供一種製品不良情況降低的片材接合體。
本發明係提供一種片材構件之接合方法,係於前一個片材構件之表面,經由黏著材而貼合新的片材構件之前端部以形成接合部,並於該接合部之後側切斷前述前一個片材構件,藉此連接前一個片材構件與新的片材構件其特徵在於:在較前述接合部更後方側,將前述前一個片材構件固定於前述新的片材構件。
又,本發明係提供一種片材構件之接合方法,其係藉由雷射熔著而進行前述固定,進而,本發明係提供一種片材構件之接合方法,其係於設置在片材構件之搬送中程的搬送輥上進行前述雷射熔著。
再者,本發明係提供一種片材接合體,其特徵在於藉 由前述任一之片材構件之接合方法而加以製造。
依本發明之片材構件之接合方法,係於前一個片材構件與新的片材構件之接合部的後側,將前述前一個片材構件固定於前述新的片材構件,因此,可抑制前一個片材構件之尾部破裂,降低製品不良的原因。
又,本發明之片材接合體係藉由如前述之接合方法而接合片材構件者,故,於之後的加工程序中可防止因尾部破裂而產生製品不良,作為具有優異品質的製品。
用以實施發明之最佳形態
以下,參照附圖說明本發明之一實施形態。
第1圖至第4圖係顯示本實施形態之片材構件之接合方法者。如第1圖至第4圖所示,本實施形態之片材構件之接合方法,係於前一個片材構件1(以下亦稱第一片材構件)的表面,經由黏著材3而貼合新的片材構件2(以下亦稱第二片材構件)的前端部而形成接合部5,且藉由於該接合部5的後側切斷前述第一片材構件1而連接該第一片材構件1與前述第二片材構件者,且於較前述接合部5更後方側,將前述第一片材構件1固定於前述第二片材構件2。
第1圖係顯示該接合方法之第1程序,即片材構件之貼合程序的側面圖。如該第1圖所示,第一片材構件1在由原始輥(original roll)10反覆送出且經所希望的加工程序(未圖示)進行處理後,係作為製品輥11而捲回。
此時,譬如第1圖所示,原始輥10中之第一片材構件1的剩餘量減少時,係由作為該原始輥10之替代品,即新的原始輥20而反覆送出第二片材構件2。
於第二片材構件2之前端部分係配置有黏著材3,且與前述第一片材構件1同速度地供給該第二片材構件2,邊搬送兩片材構件而邊於第一片材構件1之表面,經由該黏著材3貼合第二片材構件2。
藉由此種貼合程序,第一片材構件1與第二片材構件2係藉由黏著材3而接合,形成接合部4。
有關黏著材3並無特別限定,可對應片材構件1、2之材質及後段的加工程序中所必要的物性等,由習知之材料等適宜地選擇。
作為該黏著材3之具體例,係可舉出利用如乙烯-丁二烯共聚物及乙烯-異戊二烯共聚物之熱可塑性彈性體的橡膠系黏著材、以丙烯酸酯共聚物為主要成分之丙烯系黏著材、以矽橡膠與矽樹脂為主要成分之矽系黏著材、以乙烯醚系聚合物為原料之乙烯基系黏著材等。
第2圖係顯示本實施形態之片材構件之接合方法中,第2程序之切斷程序的側面圖。
更具體上,如第2圖所示,係於較以前述貼合程序所形成之接合部4而相對於第一片材構件1之行進方向更後方側,切斷第一片材構件1。第2圖中,粗箭頭圖案係表示切斷位置。
藉由於較接合部4更後方側處切斷第一片材構件1,第一片材構件1係呈較接合部4更往後方側延伸之狀態,形成所謂的尾部5。
第3圖係顯示本實施形態之片材構件之接合方法中,作為第3程序之固定程序,即,將藉由前述切斷程序而形成之尾部5固定於前述第二片材構件2之程序的側面圖。
本實施形態中係採用藉由雷射熔著而加以固定之方法,具體上,如第3圖所示,由雷射震盪器7照射雷射光R,熔著第一片材構件1之尾部5與第二片材構件2。
作為該雷射光R,只要是可熔著片材構件者即並未有特別限定,譬如可採用藉由半導體雷射、Nd-YAG雷射、光纖雷射等的各種的震盪機構所獲得者,有關其震盪方法,可採用連續地照射雷射光,即,所謂的CW雷射(Continuous Wave Laser:連續波雷射)及飛秒雷射等的脈衝雷射等。
其中,由易於在面內獲得均等的光束強度之觀點來看,以半導體雷射、光纖雷射為宜。
又,由對於多數的樹脂材料為穿透性優異,且雷射光容易到達片材構件間的界面,不會對片材構件之表側造成不良影響而易於進行於界面之熔著的觀點來看,該雷射光之波長以近紅外線區域為宜。
為進行雷射熔著,前述第一片材構件或第二片材構件之至少任一者,以對於雷射光具有光吸收性為宜。其中一者對於雷射光具有光吸收性時,宜由不具有光吸收性之另一片材構件側照射雷射光,藉由到達具有光吸收性之片材構件而使其表面發熱並加以熔著。
又,雙方之片材構件都對於雷射光具有光吸收性時,亦可冷卻照射雷射光側之片材構件表面,邊抑制因照射面之熱度所造成的損傷而邊進行熔著。
進而,任一之片材構件均未對於雷射光具有光吸收性時,以及雷射光之吸收不完全時,亦可係讓第一片材構件與第二片材構件之間介在有光吸收劑而提高光吸收性之構成,藉由將雷射光照射於該光吸收劑來加熱該光吸收劑而熔著片材構件。
作為用以吸收前述雷射光之光吸收劑,可例舉如使用紫質系化合物之顏料、染料、碳黑等。
又,照射雷射光R時,宜於搬送片材構件之輥體6上照射雷射光R。
具體上,如第3圖所示,該尾部5宜到達配置成與尾部5相接之輥體6上,且該尾部5挾於輥體6之表面與前述第二片材構件2之間,並於該尾部5與該第二片材構件2呈密著之狀態時照射雷射光R。
有關雷射光R之照射態樣並無特別限定,譬如第4(a)圖所示,可照射跨越貼合有片材構件之整個區域的光線束,又亦可如第4(b)圖所示,照射沿片材構件之寬度方向而配置之多數條雷射光R。
又,本實施形態之接合方法中,由於係邊搬送片材構件1、2邊照射雷射光R,故縱或不掃瞄該雷射光R,亦可於該片材構件1、2之搬送方向(即,片材構件的長向方向)延伸之區域進行熔著。
第5圖係顯示有關本發明之片材接合體之一實施形態中,其連接處之構成的平面圖,具體上,第5(a)圖係顯示如前述第4(a)圖所示者,即,照射跨越片材構件之整個寬度方向的雷射光R而形成熔著部之片材接合體的連接處之構成,第5(b)圖係顯示如前述第4(b)圖所示者,即,沿片材構件之寬度方向照射多數條雷射光而形成熔著部之片材接合體的連接處之構成。
如此,片材接合體之熔著部15可如第5(a)圖所示,為前述尾部5之大致整個區域,亦可如第5(b)圖所示,沿片材構件之寬度方向而有多數個。
又,第5圖所示之實施形態中,係顯示由接合部4跨前述尾部5之終端而連續地進行熔著之例,但本發明並不限定於此實施形態,譬如亦可間歇性地照射雷射光,沿片材構件之長向方向而分多處進行熔著。
又,本發明中所接合之片材構件,有關其材質及尺寸、抑或單層構件、積層構件等之構成亦無特別限定。
作為該片材構件,可採用譬如使用聚乙烯樹脂(PE),聚丙烯樹脂(PP)、聚對苯二甲酸乙二酯樹脂(PET)等的熱可塑性樹脂,環氧樹脂(EP)、苯分甲醛樹脂(PF)等的熱硬化性樹脂,天然橡膠(NR)、乙烯-丙烯-雙烯三元共聚物(EPDM)等的橡膠內之任一種以上而形成的聚合物片材;藉由合成纖維、天然纖維及該等混紡品等而形成之織布或不織布;以及該等之複合片材。
又,若其中一方之片材構件具有如前述之光穿透性之構成,另一方之片材構件可為由鋁、銅、鐵等或該等之合金而形成的金屬性者、或具備該金屬層之構成。
又,有關本發明所適用之片材構件之厚度並無特別的限定,但厚度較薄時,變得容易產生尾部的浮動,因而可易於彰顯出本發明所帶來之作用效果。具體上,片材構件之厚度為500μm以下時效果易於發揮,特別是250μm以下時可發揮進一步之效果。
又,片材構件之楊氏模數亦會對於浮動之程度造成較大之影響,具有0.1MPa以上、220GPa以下之楊氏模數的片材構件中,可進一步發揮本發明之效果。
進而,尾部的形狀亦會對於浮動的程度造成較大的影響,尾部的長度相對於尾部的寬度(即(尾部長度/尾部寬度)×100)為0.5~5000%時、較佳為2.5~2000%時、而尤其是尾部的長度為10mm~500mm時,更易於發揮本發明進一步之功效。
再者,有關片材構件之材質、積層構造、厚度等,第一片材構件1與第二片材構件2並非得相同,亦可為不同。
又,本實施形態中係例示使用第一片材構件1與第二片材構件2之二片片材構件的態樣,但亦可接合三片以上之片材構件而製作片材接合體。
進而,亦可接合一片的片材構件之一端部與另一端部而製作環狀之片材接合體。
又,在不顯著影響本發明之功效的範圍內,亦可於本發明之片材接合方法及片材接合體採用習知的技術事項。
實施例
其次,舉出實施例進一步詳細說明本發明,然而本發明並不限定於該等實施例。
(實施例1)
以搬送速度100mm/s、張力100g一邊搬送下述所示之片材構件A及B,一邊以黏著帶貼合二者,並於其後方側切斷片材構件A而形成尾部(長度10mm、長度/寬度×100=100),進而,藉由於該尾部照射下述樣態之雷射光而進行該尾部之熔著。
使用構件
‧片材構件A:聚對苯二甲酸乙二酯樹脂(PET)製、寬度10mm、厚度50μm
‧片材構件B:聚對苯二甲酸乙二酯樹脂(PET)製、寬度10mm、厚度50μm
雷射光照射裝置
‧雷射光源:半導體雷射
‧雷射光波長:940nm
‧輸出:22.5W
‧雷射光點徑:2mmΦ
搬送以如前述之條件而進行尾部之熔著的片材接合體時,確認可抑制該尾部的浮動。又,以下述之方法測量片材構件A與片材構件B之接合強度時,可確認接合強度(拉力強度)提高至60N/cm。
接合強度(拉力強度)之測量方法
室溫下,將寬度10mm×長度75mm之式樣張開於Tensilon()式拉力試驗機,以50mm/分之速度於剪斷方向拉伸,測量斷裂時之應力。
(實施例2)
使用下述之片材構件C及D,除讓雷射光之輸出為15W,其餘皆與實施例1相同地進行該尾部之熔著。
使用構件
‧片材構件C:聚丙烯樹脂(PP)製、寬度10mm、厚度40μm
‧片材構件D:聚丙烯樹脂(PP)製、寬度10mm、厚度40μm
搬送以前述之條件而進行尾部之熔著的片材接合體時,確認該尾部之浮動可獲得抑制。
(比較例1)
不以雷射光進行熔著,且其他係與實施例1相同地,藉由接合片材構件而獲得片材接合體。搬送該片材接合體時,確認尾部有浮動。片材構件A與片材構件B之接合強度(張力強度)為15N/cm。

Claims (3)

  1. 一種片材構件之接合方法,係於前一個片材構件之表面,經由黏著材而貼合新的片材構件之前端部以形成接合部,並於該接合部之後側切斷前述前一個片材構件,藉此連接前一個片材構件與新的片材構件,其特徵在於:在較前述接合部更後方側,將前述前一個片材構件固定於前述新的片材構件。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項之片材構件之接合方法,其係藉由雷射熔著而進行前述固定。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第2項之片材構件之接合方法,其係於設置在片材構件之搬送中程的搬送輥上進行前述雷射熔著。
