Description

Absorbent article

The present invention relates to an absorbent article such as a physiological pad, a physiological pants (a sanitary napkin for menstruation), an incontinence pad, and the like.

In recent years, the absorbent article has a tendency to be thinner. For example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Hei 9-156014 has applied an absorbent article which is thinner than the conventional absorbent article and has excellent absorption performance. .

On the other hand, since the thin absorbent article is thin, when it is worn by the body and twisted by the body, a gap is easily generated between the absorbent article and the body. Therefore, it is required to improve the stability of the shape when worn in the body. On the other hand, the applicant has filed a patent application for the technique disclosed in Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. Hei 10-99372. In addition, in order to maintain the flatness during wearing, it is difficult to cause twisting and wrinkles, and a patent application for strengthening the softness in the central region has been proposed (refer to Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 2000-225138). However, even if these techniques are originally applied locally to an absorbent article using the thin absorbent sheet as described above, the desired shape stability cannot be sufficiently obtained.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and relates to an absorbent article which is difficult to twist, has excellent shape stability when worn, and has good fit to the body.

In order to achieve the above object, the absorbent article provided by the present invention comprises a front sheet constituting a skin contact surface, a back sheet constituting a non-skin contact surface, and an absorbent layer interposed between the two sheets, and substantially forming a longitudinal shape. The absorbent layer has a portion having a large number of layers in the central portion in the width direction, and has a device for stabilizing the wearing shape in a portion having a large number of layers.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings in accordance with an appropriate embodiment.

Fig. 1 to Fig. 3 schematically show a first embodiment in which the absorbent article of the present invention is applied to a physiological pad. In these figures, reference numeral 1 denotes a physiological pad (hereinafter simply referred to as a pad).

As shown in Fig. 1, Fig. 2(a) and (b), the pad 1 of the present embodiment includes a skin contact surface 2, a non-skin contact surface 3, and a skin contact surface 2 and a non-skin contact surface 3. The absorbent layer 4 is substantially elongated. The skin contact surface 2 constitutes a front sheet, and the non-skin contact surface 3 constitutes a back sheet, and the absorbent layer 4 is disposed between the sheets. In the skin contact surface 2 of the pad 1, in order to improve the absorbability of the front sheet and prevent the twist of the absorbent layer 4, the concave portion 20 is formed by embossing by the skin contact surface 2 side (but in Fig. 2 ( In b), the illustration of the recess 20 is omitted for convenience. The concave portion 20 is formed on the outer side of the central absorption portion 40 to be described later. The recess 20 preferably reaches the vicinity of the lower portion of the absorbent layer 4.

The front sheet constituting the skin contact surface 2 is composed of a liquid permeable sheet. The liquid permeable sheet used in such an absorbent article can be used without any particular limitation. The liquid permeable sheet is not limited as long as it can penetrate the absorbent layer 4, but it is particularly preferable to have a touch close to the underwear. Examples of such a liquid permeable sheet include a woven fabric of a thermoplastic resin, a nonwoven fabric, and a porous sheet. In particular, as a liquid permeable sheet which can provide a touch close to the underwear, it is preferable to use a sandwich type (including side-by-side type) composite fiber in which the core layer component is made of polypropylene or polyester, and the outer layer component is made of polyethylene. After the fiber is formed into a network, a liquid-permeable sheet which is formed into a non-woven fabric by a gas-permeable method (which may be subjected to a perforation treatment at a specific point thereafter) is preferably used from a point of high liquid permeability (dry feeling). An apertured sheet of polyolefin such as low density polyethylene.

The back sheet constituting the non-skin contact surface 3 is preferably composed of a liquid-impermeable sheet. The liquid-impermeable sheet can be used without any particular limitation, and the liquid-impermeable sheet conventionally used in such an absorbent article can be used. As the liquid-impermeable sheet, for example, a mixture of a filler in which an inorganic compound or an organic compound is added by melt-extruding a thermoplastic resin from a T-type head or a circular die can be used to form a film, and then, the film is formed. Uniform or biaxial stretching to obtain a moisture permeable sheet. Further, it is also preferable to use a sheet (for example, SM, SMS, SMMS, etc.) which combines a spunbonded nonwoven fabric and a melt flow non-woven fabric, in terms of gas permeability and flexibility. Further, in the case where the non-skin contact sheet is provided on the non-skin contact surface of the absorbent layer, the back sheet may not have liquid impermeability.

The absorbent layer 4 has a structure in which a thin absorbent sheet is laminated. The absorbent sheet to be used in the absorbent layer 4 is, for example, an absorbent sheet contained in the column of the "invention of the invention" of JP-A-9-156014. Further, a sheet in which a polymer is fixed between a thin paper and paper by an adhesive or a wet adhesive property, a sheet which is dispersed at the time of production of the melt flow non-woven fabric, and which is immobilized while being non-woven, and Polymerize the polymer directly. It is also preferable to use a sheet or the like fixed to a fiber assembly as a thin absorbent sheet.

The absorptive layer 4 has a large number of layers in the central portion in the width direction. Here, the central region in the width direction refers to a region ranging from the center in the width direction of the pad 1 to a range of 15 to 25 mm on both sides. In the pad 1 of the present embodiment, an absorbent sheet to be described later is used. 41 has the same width. In the pad 1, the absorbent layer 4 is attached to the central absorbent portion 40 at a position corresponding to the excretion portion, and a plurality of layers of the absorbent sheet are laminated to have higher absorption performance than the other portions.

As shown in Fig. 2(a), the central absorbent portion 40 is formed by laminating two sheets of the absorbent sheet 41, and another absorbent sheet 42 is disposed above and below the outer side of the absorbent sheet 41. The central absorbent portion 40 has a portion that differs in the number of absorbent sheets, i.e., only the two layer portions 402 of the absorbent sheet 42 and the four portions 404 between the layers. Further, in Fig. 2(a), for the sake of easy understanding, each of the sheets is formed to have a gap, but actually, the sheets are closely attached. The pad 1 is attached to the central absorbing portion 40, and the absorptive layer 4 has a portion having a different number of layers in the width direction.

60~85 mm。The thickness T4, the length L4, and the width W4 of the absorbent layer 4 shown in Figs. 2(a) and 2(b) are appropriately set in accordance with the use situation of the wearer. The thickness T4 of the desired absorbent layer 4 is preferably from 1 to 5 mm, more preferably from 1.5 to 3 mm, in view of the fact that the resistance or uncomfortable feeling when the pad is worn is not caused as much as possible. The length L4 is 250~450 mm and the width W4 is 60~85 mm.

25~60%。In view of not causing resistance to bending in the longitudinal direction of the product, it is preferable that the front end portion of the central absorbent portion 40 is located 40 to 100 mm from the foremost end portion of the absorbent layer 4 (indicated by S40 in Fig. 2), and the length L40 is 80~. 140 mm. Preferably, the length L40 of the central absorbent portion 40 is 25 to 60% of the length L4 of the absorbent layer 4.

The pad 1 of the present embodiment has a device having a large number of layers in the central absorbent portion 40, that is, a portion of the four layers 404 of the absorbent sheet, and a central portion having a device for stabilizing the wearing shape ( Hereinafter, it is only referred to as a stabilizing device).

0.5~2.5 cN/cm。The stabilizing device 5 is composed of a compression portion 54 which is provided discontinuously on both side edges and a central portion of the four portions 404 of the central absorption portion 40. The compression portion 54 is provided discontinuously at a predetermined interval in three directions in the longitudinal direction of the central absorption portion 40 with a predetermined interval therebetween. When the compression portion 54 is provided discontinuously, the bending of the pad 1 in the longitudinal direction (front-rear direction) is not impaired, and the boundary between the portion of the sheet (layer) and the smaller portion can be easily bent. And the rigidity of the central absorbent portion 40 in which the rigidity of the layer is excessively high is uniform in the central portion to the both side edges, and when the pad 1 is worn for the body, as shown in FIG. The central absorbing portion 40 can be bent locally without being partially localized, in particular, at a boundary between the portion 404 having a large number of layers and the portion 402 having a small number of layers, and the convex shape can be stably maintained as a whole in the width direction. Thereby, a gap can be suppressed between the skin contact surface 2 of the pad 1 and the body B. The rigidity of the absorbent body in the width direction can be stabilized by a stabilization process of 50 to 80% compared with that before the stabilization treatment, but the rigidity in the longitudinal direction is almost unchanged, and is 90 as compared with that before the stabilization treatment. ~110% rigidity. The ideal stiffness after stabilization is 0.5~2.5 cN/cm.

Further, the compression portion 54 is preferably provided by the non-skin contact surface 3 side of the absorbent layer 4 from the viewpoint of improving the contact between the absorbent layer 4 and the front sheet and improving the fluid mobility. The compressing portion 54 can be provided, for example, by passing it through a hot embossing roll having a convex portion corresponding to the arrangement position. Preferably, the compressing portion 54 is such that the absorbent sheets are compressed with each other and then thermally joined to provide a thermal joint.

As shown in FIGS. 2(a) and (b), the boundary between the portion having a larger number of layers and the smaller portion (in the present embodiment, the boundary between the two-layer portion 402 and the four-layer portion 404) and the compression portion 54 are shown. The interval d is preferably 3 to 10 mm in consideration of the difference in the number of layers that can be borrowed from the boundary portion to alleviate the twist of the side affected by the flexibility. Further, the interval dw54 in the width direction of the compression portion 54 is preferably 5 to 15 mm in consideration of bending in the width direction of the product and not increasing the rigidity. Further, in consideration of the bending in the longitudinal direction of the product, when the rigidity is not increased, the interval dl54 in the longitudinal direction of the compressed portion 54 is preferably 5 to 15 mm.

10~75 mm2The depth of the compression portion 54, the area of the compression portion 54, and the total area of the compression portion 54 are set in accordance with the number of layers of the central absorption portion 40. Further, in consideration of bending in the longitudinal direction and the width direction of the product, the depth of the compressed portion 54 is preferably 2 to 5 mm, and the area of the compressed portion 54 is preferably 0.7 to 4 mm 2 , and the compression portion is not caused. The total area of 54 is preferably 10 to 75 mm 2 .

As described above, the pad 1 of the present embodiment has the compressing portion 54 at the central portion and both side portions of the portion 404 having a large number of layers of the central absorbent portion 40 of the absorbent layer 4 as the stabilizing device 5. Therefore, in addition to the meandering of the boundary between the portion having a large number of layers of the central absorbing portion 40 and the smaller portion, the flexibility of the entire central absorbing portion 40 can be made uniform. Therefore, it is difficult to cause the twisting, and the shape of the pad 1 can be kept stable when it is worn on the body, so that the fit to the body is kept good.

4(a) and 4(b) are views schematically showing another embodiment of the absorbent article of the present invention applied to the pad, and correspond to the drawings of Figs. 2(a) and 2(b). In the drawings, the same portions as those of the central absorbent portion 40 of the absorbent layer 4 of the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals and will not be described. Therefore, the description of the first embodiment will be suitably applied to the portion which is not particularly described.

The pad 1' of the second embodiment shown in Figs. 4(a) and 4(b) has both sides of the skin contact surface 2 covered by the side sheet 6 of the surface layer of the butterfly wing portion, and joined to The shape of the side sheets 6 . In the side sheet 6, a conventional side sheet which is conventionally used for such a mat, for example, a side sheet which is treated with a water-repellent agent and is not woven by the surface of the liquid-permeable front sheet, may be used. Or a spunbonded nonwoven fabric or a sheet (for example, SM, SMS, SMMS, etc.) in which a spunbonded nonwoven fabric (S) and a melt flow non-woven fabric (M) are combined. When a hydrophobic or water-repellent sheet is used for the side sheet, the effect of reducing side leakage can be obtained.

2~15 mm。The central absorbing portion 40 of the pad 1 ′ is bent in such a manner that the end portions of the one absorbent sheet 41 and the slightly central portion of the upper side (front sheet side) are not overlapped or have a plurality of gaps G41 therebetween, and The absorbent sheet 42 is provided in such a manner as to be wrapped in the absorbent sheet 41. The end portion of the absorbent sheet 42 is overlapped at a slight central portion of the lower side (back sheet side) of the absorbent sheet 41 so as to have an overlapping width W42. Further, in Fig. 4(a), for the sake of easy understanding, each of the sheets is formed to have a gap on the upper and lower sides, but actually, the sheets are closely attached, and both side portions of the absorbent sheet 42 are also zigzag to have no gap. status. The gap G41 is preferably 0 to 3 mm in consideration of resistance to bending of the width direction of the product. For the same reason, the overlap width W42 is preferably 2 to 15 mm.

5。In the above layer configuration, the central absorbent portion 40 has only a portion 402 of two layers of the absorbent sheet 42, a portion 404 between the four layers and a portion of the fifth layer (except for the portion of the gap G41) 405, central absorption The absorbent sheet of the portion 40 has a stabilizing device 5 in a portion 404 of the four layers.

The stabilizing device 5 is composed of a plurality of embossed portions 54 that are discontinuously provided in a portion 404 of four layers of the central absorbing portion 40. The compression portion 54 is discontinuously arranged in two rows at the interval dw54 in the width direction of the central absorption portion 40, and is provided discontinuously in the longitudinal direction with the interval d1.

The pad 1' of the present embodiment is additionally used as the stabilizing device 5, and the portion 404 of the four layers having a large number of layers in the central absorbing portion 40 has a compressing portion 54 and an absorbent sheet 41, 42 of the central absorbing portion 40. The combination of the laminated structures in which the end portions are not partially overlapped is similar to the protective pad of the first embodiment, except that the boundary between the portion having a large number of layers of the central absorbent portion 40 and a small portion can be prevented. Further, in the entire central absorbing portion 40, the flexibility can be made uniform. Therefore, it is difficult to cause awkwardness, and the shape of the pad can be kept stable when worn on the body, so that the fit to the body is kept good.

The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and can be appropriately modified without departing from the scope of the invention.

The absorbent article of the present invention preferably has a compression portion (or a thermal joint portion) formed of a heat embossing roll of the first embodiment shown in Figs. 2(a) and (b) or as a stabilizing device. 4(a) and 4(b), in combination with the laminated structure of the compression portion (or thermal joint portion) formed by the hot embossing roll and the end portion of the absorbent sheet, in the second embodiment, but stable The chemical conversion device is not limited thereto, and in order to further realize the stabilization device in a higher profile, one or more stabilizations are formed in the side region and the central region, respectively, when the central absorption portion is equally divided in the width direction. In the case of the device, the obtained product is less likely to be twisted, and the shape of the pad 1 can be stabilized when it is worn on the body, so that it is preferable to keep the fit of the body good. Further, when a plurality of kinds of stabilizing devices are combined in the central region of the central absorbing portion to stabilize the wearing shape, it is preferable to further improve the fit of the body from the central absorbing portion. As a combination of such a stabilizing device, a compression portion (or a thermal joint portion) formed of a hot embossing roll of the embodiment shown in Fig. 5 and Figs. 6(a) and (b) described below can be formed and A stabilization device formed by a combination of laminated structures at the ends of the absorbent sheet.

5 and 6(a) and (b) are diagrams schematically showing a central absorbent portion of an absorbent layer of another embodiment of the absorbent article of the present invention, and in the drawings, The same portions as those of the central absorbent portion 40 of the absorbent layer 4 of the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals and will not be described. Therefore, the description of the first embodiment will be suitably applied to the portion which is not particularly described.

The center absorbing portion 40' of the absorbent layer of the pad of the third embodiment shown in Fig. 5 is wrapped in the absorbent sheet 42 in the same manner as the central absorbing portion 40 constituting the pad of the second embodiment. The two absorbent sheets 41 of the central absorbent portion 40 of the embodiment of the embodiment are provided with overlapping sheets 41. The central absorbing portion 40' of this embodiment is used as the stabilizing device 5, and has a side portion of the four layers (the portion having a large number of layers) 404 of the absorbent sheet in the width direction of the central absorbing portion 40'. An elongated shape and arranged in a predetermined width to form a two-row staggered compression portion (or thermal joint portion) 54 and an absorbent sheet in the central portion of the central absorbent portion 40' is a five-layer portion 405 There is a circular compression portion (or thermal joint) 54. In the same manner as the pad of the first embodiment, the pad having the center absorbing portion 40' of the present embodiment can be made to be stable when the body is worn, and the body can be kept in the same manner as the pad of the first embodiment. The fit is good, and the bending of the pad in the longitudinal direction can be stabilized.

In the absorbent article of the present invention, the stabilization device of the absorbent layer can be changed by the laminated structure of the respective absorbent sheets of the central absorbent portion.

Further, as shown in Fig. 6(b), the central absorbent portion 40' of the pad of the fifth embodiment of the present invention may be formed of an absorbent sheet 41 which does not cause the central absorbent portion 40 of the pad of the third embodiment. The pattern overlaps at the bottom and the ends of the ends are butted at the top. In this case, the compression portion 54 in the central portion of the central absorption portion 40' can be omitted, which is preferable.

Further, the arrangement of the compression portion or the thermal junction portion provided in the central absorption portion is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be appropriately changed without departing from the effects of the present invention. Further, the form of the compressing portion 54 is not limited to the above-described respective embodiments, and various types can be used in combination as needed.

Further, in the absorbent article of the present invention, a conventional shift preventing layer for preventing displacement of the absorbent article can be provided on the surface of the back sheet constituting the non-skin contact surface within the range which does not impair the effects of the present invention. .

The obtained absorbent layer had a rigidity value of 3.1 cN/cm in the width direction and 2.1 cN/cm in the longitudinal direction.

Evaluation of wear status]

For the obtained pad, the transparent model of the resin for wearing the pad was used to simulate the wearing of the pad, and the shape of the pad of the crotch was visually observed from the upper part of the transparent model, and the center and side of the pad were evaluated. The personal fit of the department.

Measurement of rigidity value]

For the measurement of the rigidity, an automated pure bending tester ("KESFB2-AUTO-A", manufactured by Kato Technology Co., Ltd.) was used. The absorbent-only layer containing no liquid permeable sheet (front sheet) and liquid-impermeable sheet (back sheet) was used as a sample. The sample was adjusted to a size of 30 mm × 30 mm centering on the measurement site (specifically, each stabilization device). The bending gap of the bending tester was 10 mm, so when measuring the width direction, it was adjusted so that the stabilization device was the center, and N=3 was measured at each part. In the measurement of the width direction, the sample was attached to the bending tester in such a manner that the bending test of the back sheet was performed first, and in the measurement of the longitudinal direction, the sample was attached to the bending test of the front sheet first. Bending test machine. The measurement results were made using a special software (KES-FB SYSTEM data measurement program Ver.7.07WJ), and the measured value of the back side sheet side with a bending curvature of 2.0 (1.98 to 2.02) in the width direction was used as " In the longitudinal direction, the measured value of the front side of the sheet having a bending curvature of 2.0 (1.98 to 2.02) is referred to as a "rigidity value in the longitudinal direction".

Using the results of the evaluation methods described above, any of the pads of Examples 1 and 2 exhibited a smooth shape along the crotch portion of the transparent model, which was difficult to be twisted and the shape stability when worn on the body. Excellent, central. Both sides of the side are quite good for the body. The pad of Example 3 had a few depressions in the center portion, and the center fit was slightly inferior to those of Examples 1 and 2, but the fit between the both sides was quite good. On the other hand, in the pad of Comparative Example 1, a large central depression occurred, and a large twist occurred in the side portion. Therefore, the fit of the transparent model is poor, and the wearing pattern is poor.

Industrial availability

According to the present invention, it is possible to provide an absorbent article which is difficult to twist, has excellent shape stability when worn, and has good fit to the body.
