Abstract

The invention provides a filter device for compressed air in which fillers of filter elements can be rapidly replaced without using tools. The filter device comprises: a body having first and second filter means which are made from filter elements having first and second fillers and contained in first and second drums; and parts for forming an inlet passage, a guide passage 44 and an exit passage. The inlet passage forming part and the exit port forming part of the body 16 are respectively provided with pick-up ports for picking up the first and second fillers. The pick-up ports have sealing elements for closing sealingly and removably the pick-up ports. Each filter element can be constituted of the first or second filler and a core which has a stop part at one end thereof and which passes through the first or second filler, and two press members provided at two ends of each filler to respectively engage two ends of the core.
