Abstract

An apparatus and process for hydrogen peroxide vapor sterilization of medical instruments and similar devices make use of hydrogen peroxide vapor released from an inorganic hydrogen peroxide complex. The peroxide vapor can be released at room temperature and atmospheric pressure; however, the pressure used can be less than 50 torr and the temperature greater than 86 DEG C to facilitate the release of hydrogen peroxide vapor. Preferred hydrogen peroxide complexes for use in the invention include Na4P2O7.3H2O2 and KH2PO4.H2O2. The heating rate can be greater than 5 DEG C. Optionally, a plasma can be used in conjunction with the vapor. <IMAGE>

Description of the invention () Invention lead: The present invention generally relates to the use of argon peroxide released by the argon peroxide complex To sterilize objects such as medical instruments and substances. Bright background: The practice of modern medicine and dentistry requires the use of disinfecting substances and devices, that is, these substances and devices must generally be free of germs and bacteria, and many devices are intended to be used repeatedly. However, to achieve this sterility, an effective sterilization method is required to deal with re-used substances and devices. This method is not only required in medical and dental clinics, but also in the manufacturing of such materials and devices. Medical devices have traditionally been sterilized using heat or chemicals provided by water vapor such as methyl oxide or ethylene oxide gas or vapor. Any of these methods has disadvantages. Many medical devices such as fiber optic devices, endoscopes, and power tools are sensitive to heat, moisture, or both. Both formaldehyde and radon ethane are toxic gases that are potentially hazardous to caregivers. The problem with ring gas ethane is particularly serious because its use requires a long aeration time to remove this gas gift from sterilized objects. This action unfavorably results in a long disinfection ring. In addition, methyl ether and ethylene oxide require a considerable amount of moisture in the system. Therefore, the device to be disinfected must be Hunanized before chemical introduction or chemical and moisture should be introduced at the same time. In addition to ethylene oxide and formaldehyde, moisture plays a role in the disinfection process of other chemicals in the form of gas skeletons or vapors. The use of argon peroxide vapor sterilization has been shown to have some advantages over other chemical sterilization methods, combining argon peroxide and plasma to provide more advantages. Description of the invention () The argon oxide vapor can be passed through radon or chlorine solution or solid Generated by radon hydrogenation complex. However, the use of aqueous hydrogen peroxide to generate hydrogen peroxide vapor for disinfection may cause problems. At higher pressures, such as atmospheric pressure, excess water in the system can cause condensation. Therefore, the relative humidity in the sterilization container must be reduced before introducing the aqueous hydrogen peroxide vapor. The sterilization of objects containing diffusion-restricted areas such as long narrow chambers is a special challenge for sterilization of radon peroxide vapor generated from radium peroxide solution. The first problem arises because water has a higher vapor pressure than hydrogen peroxide and therefore will evaporate from the aqueous solution faster than hydrogen peroxide. The second problem is that water has a lower molecular weight than argon peroxide and diffuses faster than hydrogen peroxide in the vapor state. However, when the argon oxide aqueous solution evaporates, the water will reach the item to be disinfected at a higher concentration first. Water vapor thus becomes an obstacle for hydrogen peroxide to enter diffusion restricted areas such as small gaps and long narrow chambers. This problem cannot be solved by removing water from the aqueous solution and using more concentrated argon peroxide, because the weight percentage of the concentrated solution of argon oxide if it is higher than 65% will be dangerous based on the oxidizing nature of the solution. The shortcomings of the water-based over-radonized argon disinfectant in the prior art can be solved by a non-aqueous argon peroxide source that can release non-aqueous over-radon vapors. In these methods, a solid peroxide complex is heated in an evaporator and the vapor is diffused into the sterilization chamber. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION: One aspect of the present invention is a combination containing solid matter, which can release gas or steam after being heated. This combination contains a breathable film and after being heated (please read the precautions on the back before filling in this page) -installed ---

In fact, it is particularly advantageous to use a disk with a gas permeable layer on the top and bottom of the disk for microwave heating, RF heating or conduction heating applications. Other heating sources with other technology-related speeds can also be used to make 21 paper standards that are compatible with Chinese National Standards (CNS &gt; Λ4 specifications (210X 297 gong)) Ministry of Economic Affairs Central Standards Bureau Beigong Consumer Cooperation Du Printed A7 _ B7__ V. Description of Invention () Circles 2F and 2G show an alternative example for constructing the solid peroxide gas complex container 100. In this embodiment, after sealing the edge of the peroxide container 100, a layer of the supporting substance 130 is attached along the circumference of the disk-shaped container 100 in the manner shown in the 2F and 2G circles. This material layer may, for example, be a pair of plastic layers. Since this layer is attached to the peroxide container 100, a plurality of holes 132 on the supporting substance and surrounding the peripheral surface of the disk-shaped container 100 are constructed in the manner shown in circle 2F. These holes 132 provide a pathway for the gas released from the upper gas permeable layer 104 or 122 during the process. Therefore, the gas can spread to the opposite side of the container 100. The support member 130 may include a sealable surface 135 surrounding the corners of the holes 132. The plane of the bottom surface 207 defines a flat bottom surface of the core 200 to create a seal against it. Fig. 3c shows the base area 213 of the cassette 200 as a hexagon with a ffl angle in the form of a flat circle. The recess 210 on the surface of the base region 213 extends from the side 217A in the counterclockwise direction through the opposite side 217B and is used to rotationally position the radon container. As shown in FIG. 3C, the wall 214 of the raised portion 212 is formed to flicker with the outer surface of the balloon body 203. As will be further explained below, the entire raised portion 212 is made of a size and shape that engage the £ 200 and the first conveying member 220 (fourth circle) of the conveying system 300. Printed by the Male Workers Consumer Cooperative of the Central Bureau of Standards of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, as can be seen in the section circle of circle 3B, a plurality of radonized compound disks 100 can be stacked within the box 200. In this preferred embodiment, each cassette 200 contains 10 peroxide disks 100. The peroxide disks 100 are stacked one above the other along their vertical axis and parallel to the bottom surface 207 of the cassette 200 so that their aluminum foil 106 faces the lower end 206 of the hollow circular crown 203. The diameter of the disc 100 is made slightly smaller than the diameter of the cylinder 203. In the outline of this design, the flexible tab 102 helps to secure the disk 100 in the cylindrical body 203 in the manner shown in circle 3C. Therefore, with the tab 102, the peripheral edge of the peroxide disk 100 does not contact the inner circumference of the hollow cylinder 203. The tab 102 is preferably flexible so that the peroxide disc 100 can be removed from the cassette 200 via the inner lip 202 on the lower end of the hollow cylinder 203 in the manner described below. In particular, one of the holes 350 held in the hole 350 of the second conveying member 310-the over-vaporizer disk 100-is initially placed in the hole 602 in the above-mentioned manner. At the same time, the cover 600 held in the first conveying member 220 is then placed over the hole 602 in the manner described above so that the tray 100 is sealed in the chamber 604. At this time, the chamber 604 is not under the void, and the bellows chamber 620 is under the void, as shown in circle 9A. Therefore, the carrier 610 is positioned at the sealed position, where the annular flange 616 and the O-ring 614 are sealingly contacted. Next, as shown in circle 9B, the chamber 604 is evacuated and air is introduced into the bellows chamber 620. As shown in circle 9, this causes the carrier assembly 610 to move upward toward the oxide disk 100, because the chamber 604 is now below the void and the bellows chamber 620 is at atmospheric pressure under. This causes the hot plate 608 contacting the over-radon compound disk 100 to top the porous plate 605 and causes peroxide gas to be generated. In this preferred embodiment, the surface of the tray 100 near the hot plate 608 is the foil 10 (circle 2A), and the foil will reflect the heat of the hot plate out of the tray 100. Until the hot plate is surely in contact with the tray 100. Furthermore, as shown in circle 9C, the movement of the carrier 610 causes the annular flange 618 to separate from the O-ring 614 on the bottom surface 616 of the chamber 604. Therefore, the passage 630 now provides communication between the chamber 604 and the sterilization chamber 90. When the sterilization chamber 90 is under the empty space, the peroxide gas tt generated by the hot plate 608 contacting the peroxide pan 100 enters the sterilization chamber 90 containing the equipment to be sterilized through the passages 630 through the first-class road 199 .
