Abstract

This washing/drying machine can cool the space installed with a laundry drying machine by switching a damper 58 to open air delivery passage 57 and cut off a part of a ventilation flue 41 between a rotary tub 3 and an evaporator 44, and functioning a compressor 50 of the heat pump 52, a air delivery blower 59 and a cooling device 48 to cool the air outside the ventilation flue 41 introduced from an air inlet 61 with the evaporator 44 while cooling a condenser 45 with water by the cooling device 48, and delivery the cooled air from the air delivery passage 57 to the outside of the machine. The water cooling the condenser 45 passes a connecting tube 67 and is discharged via water tub 2 so that the disposal of the water required for the cooling is facilitated without requiring another extra constitution.
