This excavating equipment comprises: excavation bearing machines which are arranged in a plurality of places of the caisson in such a manner that a difference of elevation between the machines and a horizontal excavator is set; a plurality of horizontal control devices which are arranged around the caisson on a ground side; and a control part for controlling the machines and the control devices. The control devices are equipped with monitoring means for detecting the vertical displacement of the caisson. When differences arise among pieces of detection information of the plurality of monitoring means, the control part can individually control the operations of the machines so as to eliminate a difference between the vertical displacements of the caisson.
