Kızgın buhar kullanarak bir çok etkili kahverengi kömür ön kurutma sistemi ve bunlarla ilgili bir proses verilmektedir Sistem, seri olarak bağlanmış, çoklu seviyeli kurutuculara (4) sahip olup; her bir seviye kurutucu (4) bir besleme cihazına (1-3), bir boşaltma cihazına (5) ve en azından bir seviye tozdan arındırma cihazına (6,8) sahiptir. Tozdan arındırma cihazından (6,8) bir çift artık gaz, bir basınç ekipmanı (9) vasıtasıyla ilgili bir seviye kurutucusuna (4) geri verilirken, artık gazın diğer kısmı, bir ısı kaynağı olarak, bir sonraki seviye kurutucusuna (4) gönderilmektedir. Bir buhar ısı kaynağı, bir başlatıcı seviye kurutucusu (4) ile bağlanmaktadır Bir nihai seviye kurutucusu (4) içindeki tozdan arındırma cihazından (6, 8) bir çift artık gaz, bir basınç ekipmanı (9) vasıtasıyla geri verilmektedir ve artık gazın diğer kısmı, havaya boşaltılmaktadır.
