Abstract

Method for separating and extracting a solid residue, a lighter liquid component and a heavier liquid component from a solid residue resulting from a treatment for extracting oil from oil-containing produce, which comprises the following steps : a) supplying said solid residue (RS) to a first horizontal-axis centrifugal extractor or decanter (D1) ; b) separation and separate extraction of a first solid residue (S1) and a first liquid component (L1;A1) containing a first light liquid component (01) and a first heavy liquid component (A1) ; c) supplying said first liquid component (L1;A1) to a second horizontal axis centrifugal extractor (D2) ; d) separation and separate extraction by said second decanter (D2) of a second solid residue (S2), a light liquid component (02) and a heavy liquid residue (A2).
