(5) HUMIDIFIER

The invention relates to medical technology, in particular, to devices for moistening and heating respiratory mixtures with water vapor during artificial ventilation of the lungs and during spontaneous breathing.

A humidifier is known which contains a heater, a gas outlet, a main water tank and an additional evaporation tank connected to the l.J. gas duct.

However, the known humidifier, due to the lack of means for controlling the amount of steam entering the breathing circuit, does not prevent the patient from increasing the temperature of the breathing mixture, and also does not provide effective humidification at different values of the patient's minute ventilation.

The purpose of the invention is to control the temperature and humidity of the respiratory

mixtures at different values of minute ventilation of the lungs.

This goal is achieved by the fact that in a humidifier containing a heater, a gas duct, a main water tank and an additional evaporative tank connected to the gas duct, the humidifier is equipped with a valve installed between the evaporative tank and the gas duct connected to the main tank, and the heater is installed outside the evaporative tank.

In this case, the heater is made in the form of a tubular resistor.

    in order to control the temperature and humidity of the respiratory mixture at different values of minute ventilation of the lungs, it is equipped with a valve installed between the evaporating tank and the gas duct connected to the main tank, and the heater is installed outside the evaporating tank.
