Между клином и шарниром возникают усили .The present invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure, namely to the construction of wedge presses. A wedge pessel is known, containing a frame with a slider, a stop piece and a wedge with two working surfaces, interacting with one of the work surfaces with a stop piece and mounted on the frame with the possibility of movement from the drive in a plane, perpendicular to the plane of the slide. The disadvantage of the known press is the need to ensure a large wedge stroke and a significant wedge drive power. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the stroke of the wedge and drive power. This goal is achieved by the fact that the press is provided with a hinge installed in the slider with a cylindrical supporting and concave cylindrical working surfaces, and the working surface of the wedge interacting with the slider is cylindrical and matching the working surface of the hinge. FIG. 1 shows a wedge press, general view; in fig. 2 is the same, side view, in FIG. 3 is a diagram of the forces exerted in the plane of the contact of the wedge with the slide; in fig. 4 shows section A-A in FIG. 1. The wedge press contains a wedge 1, which interacts with one working surface and with a thrust piece - a cross bar of press 2, the other b, cylindrical, with a cylindrical concave in the working surface of the hinge 3 installed in the slide 4. Wedge 1 and slide 4 are connected Stage 5, one end of which is connected to the slider, and the second part is hinged with the wedge. For the reciprocating motion of the wedge serves as a drive, made in the form of hydraulic cylinders 6 and 7. The wedge press works as follows. When pressure is applied to the hydrocylinic. Head 6, the wedge 1 moves to the right, while it slides with a curved surface along the mating surface of the hinge 3, acting on the latter and through it on the slider, causing the slide to move downwards. Effort arises between the wedge and the joint.
3.and P, where P is the drive force of the wedge. The force P increases as the wedge moves to the right and reaches the required working force at the point of contact of the extreme lower point of the wedge with the hinge 3.
5.In order to reverse the slide, the hydraulic cylinder 7 is activated, which moves the wedge 1 to the left. The wedge slides a curvilinear surface along the mating surface of the hinge 3. As the wedge moves, the slide 4 rises by means of the pull 5.
The use of the proposed wedge press reduces the travel and power of the wedge drive, which contributes to reducing the size of the press and its cost.
