Description
6.The invention relates to medicine, namely to vascular surgery and neurosurgery, and is intended primarily for the occlusion of the lumen of the pathological vessels of the brain. An occlusive device is known which consists of an elastic balloon with a hole in the proximal end and a catheter temporarily inserted into this hole. The working part of the catheter (connecting to the balloon) is made with a reduced diameter section and an extended spherical head, thanks to which the balloon is installed in a predetermined part of the vessel and the balloon is prevented from falling off the catheter by the il blood stream. However, this device is difficult to conduct through convoluted and branched blood vessels, since when a balloon is introduced into a blood vessel, the laminar blood flow is replaced with a blunt flow. The balloon attached to the refined working end of the catheter begins to vibrate relative to the longitudinal axis of the vessel. The balloon becomes uncontrollable, it cannot be inserted into a pathological vessel twisted from a lion vessel. In this case, the balloon can become across the vessel, looping the curved refined part of the catheter, which not only makes it impossible to further advance the balloon through the vessel; but it also makes it difficult to remove it from the vessel. The purpose of the invention is to provide the ability to hold the balloon through the winding and branched blood vessels. This goal is achieved by the fact that in the device the balloon wall opposite the self-expanding hole is made thickened and the metal element is located inside the bulge. The drawing shows an occlusive device in cross section. The device contains a catheter 1 with a reduced diameter section 2 and a spherical head 3 at the working end, as well as an elastic balloon 4 with a self-engaging opening through which the catheter section 2 is passed. The wall of the cylinder 4 opposite the hole of the air vent has a thickening 5, inside of which there is a metal element 6.
