Description
(54) METHOD OF WELDING GLASS
The invention relates to the glass industry, and in particular to the method of glass melting in high-performance glass-bath furnaces, in which the glass melting process is carried out at elevated temperatures around 1600 C. A method of glass melting in a glass furnace of the heated furnace is known. in the active cooking zone of the charge, graphite rods are installed to prevent direct contact of the charge with the furnace walls and reduce corrosion and corrosion of the walls. At some distance from the circumference, rod electrodes are installed that will provide additional heat supply P1. The disadvantages are known. The method is shielding the glass melt in the wall zone from thermal radiation of the flame and the roof, which degrades the glassmaking process, as well as overheating of the glass melt directly in contact with the electrodes and the appearance of the secondary black eye with simultaneous blockage of the glass melt by products of destruction of electrodes and graphite rods. The closest in technical essence and the achieved result is the method of glass melting B in a glass furnace furnace, which includes supplying fuel with an oxidizer and the mixture to the furnace, heating it, melting it to create an open mirror glass along the pool circumference in the active cooking zone and introducing additional heat moreover, additional heat supply is carried out both by electrodes located along the side walls of the furnace and by a refractory visor, which contributes to additional heat reflection on the surface charge in the wall region {2. The disadvantages of this method are less effective thermal effect on the charge in the near-wall zone when installing electrodes in the thickness of the melt, JTO leads to a decrease in furnace productivity. The involvement of cold deep layers of glass melt) in the surface flow under the charge worsens the chemical and thermal homogeneity of the melt. - In addition, the presence of pronounced vertical transverse flows in the installation area of the electrodes increases the corrosive effects of the pool walls. The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of the glass mass. This goal is achieved by the fact that in the method of glass melting in a bath furnace, which includes the supply of fuel with an oxidizer and the charge to the furnace, its heating, melting and the introduction of additional fuel into the near-wall zone of the furnace, additional fuel is introduced at an angle of 10-30 ° to the horizon. amount of 1-5% of the total fuel consumption with an oxidizing agent. Additional fuel is supplied to the wall of the furnace zone of the furnace 0.02-0.1 wide from its entire width.
