Description

one

The invention relates to equipment for forming sleeves from flexible packaging material and can be used on packaging and wrapping and wrapping machines in the food industry.

A hose former is known, consisting of two pipe lengths interconnected by a support plate and a collar common to these pipes.

In order to improve the quality of forming the sleeves in the proposed sleeve, the support plate and the adjacent wall of the pipes are made flat.

In order to obtain a common longitudinal seam of the double sleeves in the described former, the adjacent longitudinal edges of the tubes form with a common rear wall a gap connecting the tube cavities and having a width sufficient for free passage of two or three layers of tape.

FIG. 1 shows schematically the proposed sleeve former, a general perspective view; in FIG. 2-4 are double pipes with a forming edge and a collar, in horizontal, frontal and profile projections, respectively.

The proposed sleeve former consists of two pipe lengths 1 interconnected by a rear wall 2, and common for TWO

pipe collar 3, having a flat trapezoid section 4.

In this case, the rear walls 2 of the pipe 1 and the common rear wall 5 which connects them are made to be non-planar, and their cross-section is B-shaped.

On the feed side of the tape, pipes 1 are bounded by a forming edge 6, the contour of which

includes the original linear segment 7, located on the rear wall 2 parallel to the guide roller 8, and the curvilinear and rectilinear sections adjoining it, bearing pipes and closing the contour at the junction of pipes, and the straight edge sections correspond to flat pipe sections, and curvilinear - cylindrical - their parts.

The contour of the forming edge of each pipe

to prevent the appearance of folds and tears of the tape formed by points equidistant from points 9 and 10, located in the cavity of the pipe, and others - 11 and 12 on their back wall 2, with points 9 and And, 10 and 12

are located in planes perpendicular to the latter, and the distance from points 11 and 12 to points of the contour is determined by the shortest (geodesic) lines on the inner surface of the pipes. The surface of the collar is formed by the movement of a straight line passing through point 9 along the contour of the forming edge.

The flat trapezoidal portion 4 of the collar serves to receive the tape from the guide roller 8.

Adjacent longitudinal edges of pipes 1 form with a common rear wall 5 a slit 13 connecting the pipe cavities and having a width sufficient for free passage of two three layers of tape.

Using the slot 13, the edges of the tape are superimposed on its middle part, ensuring the formation of the longitudinal groove 14 of the twin sleeves 15.

The shaping of the sleeves from one tape is carried out as follows.

The tape 16 is wound from a roll and, by bending around the guide roller 8, is fed to a flat trapezoidal section 4 of the collar 3, having sufficient dimensions at the base to receive the tape 16 but its entire width. Moving along the surface of the collar 3, the tape is then pulled through the forming edge 6 into the doubled lengths of the pipes 1, bending around their surface from the inside. When this edge is rolled into the sleeves of the tape 16 by means of a longitudinal slit 13 impose along its middle and

glue together with the latter to form a longitudinal seam 14 of twin sleeves 15, which after

Formations of longitudinal and transverse seams are filled with the product, sealed and divided into individual sheets.
