Description
The present invention is intended, as a teaching tool in the study of cosmography, for an intimate understanding of the position of the stars on the celestial sphere and for the corresponding numerical readings.
In the diagram of FIG. 1 shows the most essential parts of the proposed training manual, and in FIG. 2 is a perspective view with the same designations as in FIG. 1 and in FIG. 3 is a view of it with additional arcs for the purpose of using the apparatus for determining the relation between the coordinates and for demonstrating the phenomena of precession. A pair of mutually perpendicular circles NWNE and ZWZE, equipped with degree divisions, are one unit and represent, respectively, the horizon and the first vertical. A pair of mutually perpendicular circles of PAPA and W1E4, equipped with degree divisions, also permanently interconnected, are respectively the meridian of the observer and the celestial equator. This pair of circles rotates inside the first one on the axes placed at points E and IV east and west and is fixed in any position by a locking screw placed under the point U, N. The semi-circle (arc) ZVZ, divided by divisions, rotates around the zenith points Z and the nadir Z represents an arbitrary vertical. The PjD arc, divided by divisions, rotating around the pole P, slides along the vertical ZVZ, represents an arbitrary hour circle (a circle of declination, the celestial meridian). At the intersection of the semicircle ZVZ and the arc PD, there is a double slip-on insert with a swivel hinge 1), of which one is provided with a locking screw S. through which the arc R5 /) is fixed. This screw represents the place of the star, lying on the vertical ZVZ and the PD clock circle. Its head is made in the form of an asterisk. The plumb line ZZ and the axis of the PP world are depicted as rods, at the intersection of which there is a ball T representing the earth. The entire device is installed and rotated on a CC stand. From the above it can be seen that the proposed training manual
It represents the material spatial image of the main circles of the horizontal and equatorial systems of celestial coordinates, as well as the polar (parallactric) triangle PZS, to the solution of which almost all tasks of nautical astronomy are reduced. In addition, the device aims not only to represent the celestial sphere, but also to count all the elements of the polar triangle numerically, except for the parallactric angle, for which the corresponding circles have degree divisions, namely: Latitude is measured by degree division of the PAPA meridian from P to N yot Z to A from 0 ° -90 °; declination DS 90 ° - PS - by dividing the arc PI) from zero to 85 ° to P and from 65 ° to the south; height VS 90 ° - ZS - by dividing the vertical ZVZ from zero to 85 ° to 2 and from zero to 75 ° to Z (decrease); azimuth P25: the LT arc is divided by the horizon NENW, and finally the hour angle ZPS arc AD by the division of the equator AWA.E, plotted on its outer side in degrees, and on the inner side in hours and minutes.
The movable parts of the device should be mutually arranged in such a way that any three polar elements of the triangle have the specified values, and, zag, to count the values of the two remaining elements from the listed ones.
WNEN.The manual can also be used to clarify the relationship between the equatorial and ecliptic coordinates and the numerical transformation of one to another. For this purpose, the PZ arc is set at 23% ° and the NENW circle is considered as the equator, the Z is like the pole of the world, and the AWAE circle and the points P t E, respectively, are like the ecliptic, its pole and the vernal equinox point. The arcs ZS and PS represent in this case a declination circle and a circle of luminosity S; its longitude and the right ascent are counted respectively on the circles WAEA and WNEN.
систем небесных координат-- горизонтальной, экваториальной и эклиптической, а также перемены этого расположени в течение суток, за-.To be able to simultaneously show the relative position of all three. systems of celestial coordinates-- horizontal, equatorial and ecliptic, as well as changes of this location during the day, for -.
Дуги PD, PD и .95 также разделены на градусы.the dependence between the star and average time and between local time on different meridians — I put on the device two more additional He6ecHbfx meridians PDi and PD (Fig. 3) and the arc of the large circle SS, which can be strengthened on the RO, PD and PD meridians (with the help of double sliders connected by a hinge (m) in any position. Having established this last arc with an inclination of 23% to the equator, one can consider it as an ecliptic, with its intersection point with the equator representing the spring equinox. The arcs PD, PD and .95 are also divided into degrees.
For demonstration and removal of precession, the PP axis is worn, durable, an additional arc Q. of a corresponding radius and a length of 23%, one end of the end of the axis P. At the free end of this arc, arc I and .0 to which, respectively, the arc SSi is attached, depicting in this case declination circles and an equator. FIG. 2, this arc Q is indicated by a dotted line. Arc Q can rotate around point P, taken as the pole of the ecliptic.
