Abstract

The invention relates to agricultural machinery, in particular to machines for harvesting various root crops, mainly sugar beet roots. The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency of cleaning a heap of roots from impurities. The corn harvesting machine contains a frame 1 supported on the running wheels 2, and digging tools 3 installed on it, an unloading conveyor 7 and driven cleaning rollers 5 forming the separating surface of the PA-shaped form, in the cavity of which the screw conveyor is installed, to one of the end parts which the discharge conveyor 7 has been brought. In this case, the rollers forming the receiving ascending portion of the separating surface are made to rotate in the direction opposite to the movement of the machine, and the rollers, binders upper covering and cascading conveyor sections - with the possibility of counter-rotating paired. In the upstream section of the separating surface, additional cleaning elements 8 in the form of brushes are installed along its width. On the separating surface 5, the roots are moved upwards.
