Description
The invention relates to metallurgy, in particular, to cast wear-resistant steel, intended for the manufacture of parts operating under conditions of intensive impact-abrasive and abrasive wear, for example, grinding mill mills or parts of charging devices of blast furnaces.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the hardness, wear resistance of steel and crack resistance.
The release of metal from the furnace is carried out at 1600-1500 ° C. Hardness measurements were made in the cast state, wear tests were performed under industrial conditions, and thickness measurements were made using the armor of grinding grinders after 1 month. operation. The crack resistance is compared in the casting process to self-lined armor of boxed type with difficult shrinkage. Table. 1 shows the chemical compositions of the known and proposed steels. In tab. 2 shows the results of tests for wear resistance, hardness, crack resistance
The use of the proposed steel makes it possible to increase by a factor of 1.8 times the service life and the overhaul period of ore grinding mills.
