Abstract

This invention relates to devices for lubricating rubbing surfaces when they overheat. The purpose of the invention is to increase reliability by simplifying the design. The device has a shaft 1, a bearing 2, a channel 3 inside the shaft 1, a dispenser in the form of a duct 4 installed in a container 5. Plates 11 are mounted on the inner surface of the duct 4. Duct 4 and plates 11 are made of a material that has a shape memory effect, for example from nickelide titanium. When the friction unit is heated, the duct 4 is heated with plates 11 in which martensitic transformation occurs. The plates are removed with free ends from the surface of the box 4, which improves heat transfer from the box to the lubricant. Upon further heating, a martensitic transformation takes place in the material of box 4 and corrugations are formed on its side surface, which leads to the approach of the upper part of box 4 to the surface of the friction and the extrusion of lubricant to the surface of the friction 1 C. f-ly, 3 ill.

Description

The invention relates to devices for lubricating rubbing surfaces, and specifically to devices that provide additional lubrication under pressure when overheated rubbing surfaces.
The purpose of the invention is to increase reliability by simplifying the design.
FIG. 1 shows a general view of a device for lubricating a friction surface, a non-working position; in fig. 2 — node I in FIG. 1, in the initial stage of heating the friction unit; in fig. 3 - the same, in the working position (when the friction unit is overheated).
The device for lubricating the friction surface comprises a shaft 1 rotating in a bearing 2. Inside the shaft 1 there is a channel 3 for supplying additional lubricant to the friction zone. In the friction zone, a duct 4 is installed, hermetically connected to the bearing 2. The duct 4 is symmetrically mounted in a container 5 filled with lubricant and fixed on the surface of the bearing 2. On
The box 4 is fixed to a discharge valve 6 connected to the lubricant supply channel 3 in the friction zone. The regulation of the discharge valve 6 is performed by a screw 7, and the lock nut 8 is fixed in position. The access to the regulation of the discharge valve is provided by removing the cover 9 In the box 4 a suction valve is installed 10 associated with a filled grease container 5. Plates 11 are mounted on the inner surface of the box 4. Box 4, the plates II are made of a material that has a shape memory effect, for example, titanium nickel. To supply the lubricant to the container 5, a pipe 12 is provided with a check valve 13 (lubricant is supplied only in the direction of arrow A.
The lubricator operates as follows.
If during the operation of the friction unit it does not overheat, then additional lubrication from the pipe 12 through the check valve 13 enters the container 5.
05 CE O 1 1
When this plate 11 on the inner surface of the box 4 is pressed to the surface of the box (Fig. 1).
In the initial stage of friction unit heating, duct 4 with plates 11 is heated in which martensitic transformation occurs under the action of heat, and they change their shape, moving away with free ends from the surface of duct 4 (Fig. 2). This improves heat transfer, from the box to the lubricant, since the plates perform the role of finning, and make it possible to apply already heated lubricant to the friction surface. When this discharge 6 and 10 suction valves are closed.
With further heating of the friction unit, a martensitic transformation occurs in the material of the box 4, corrugations are formed on its side surface, which leads to the approach of the upper part of the box 4 to the surface of the friction and an increase in pressure in the cavity of the box. Under the action of this pressure, the liquid from the duct 4 rushes in the direction of arrow B (Fig. 3) and opens the discharge valve 6, and then through the channel 3 hits the surface of the bearing 2.
After the lubricant enters the channel 3, the temperature of the friction zone decreases, which in turn leads to a decrease in the temperature of the box 4. In its material, the reverse martensitic transformation takes place, on the side surface of the box 4 the corrugations disappear, which leads to the removal of the top and 4 of the box 4 from friction surfaces and pressure drop in the duct cavity. In this case, the discharge valve 6 is closed, but the suction valve 10 is opened. This provides lubricant supply from the tank 5 to the duct 4. Then the suction valve 10 is closed (Fig. 2).
With a further decrease in the temperature of the friction unit, the reverse martensitic transformation takes place in the material of the plates 11, and they change their shape, approaching the free ends to the surface of the box 4 (Fig. 1). This reduces heat transfer from the box to the lubricant.
When the friction surface is heated, the cycle is repeated.
