Abstract
The invention relates to medicine, namely cardiology. The purpose of the invention is to prolong the remission period in the treatment of patients with persistent paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. The goal is achieved by applying a permanent magnetic field to the temporal regions during the induction field of 180–220 mT at a distance of 1 mm from the surface of the magnet, while the north polarity is applied to the left and the south to the right temple. The method allows to achieve the cessation and significant reduction of attacks of atrial fibrillation and lengthen the terms of remission to 1.5 - 3 years.
Description
The invention relates to medicine, namely cardiology, and can be used in the treatment of patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, in which; therapeutic therapy is not achieved after the preceding medical treatment
The purpose of the invention is the prolongation of the periods of remission - in patients with persistent forms of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, which is not amenable to correction with drugs.
The method is carried out as follows.
After a thorough clinical examination, the patient is in a lying position or sitting position, magnets with a working area of 12, Ox 16.0 cm2 are applied to both temples when the induction field is 180-220 mT at a distance of 1 mm or more. The south pole is applied to the right temple, and the sevrrna to the left.
In this position, the patient is 50-60 minutes under the local influence of a constant magnetic field. Such magnetic therapy sessions are conducted daily, for a total of 30 sessions. After every 10th session, a clinical and ECG examination of the patient is performed.
During magnetic therapy, the number of medications taken is gradually reduced, and after the 7-8th session, specific drug therapy is completely stopped.
100V )Example 1. Patient MD, 47 years old, doctor, for 2 years suffered from frequent bouts of atrial fibrillation (1-2 times a week). During the examination, a muffled heart tone was noted, an accent 11 tone under the aorta, a slight systolic murmur over the apex of the heart outside the attacks. Pulse rhythmic, 64 beats per minute (during paroxysms of atrial fibrillation, heart rate 100V)

After a week, the attacks began to decrease (first up to 2 times a week, then once a week, in 10 days). Attacks stopped by physical exertion. After 3 months at the end of the course of treatment, he felt vigorous, confident, performed the full amount of work. Within 20 months after the end of magnetic therapy, there were 3 flicker attacks (according to the patient from large mental overloads). To drug therapy did not resort. By

During the course of le-25. After 6 months of treatment, the state is unchanged (complication is bradycardi). It is proposed to undergo a course of magnetic therapy. The Robinson index before therapy is 204, the pulse rate is 76, the blood pressure is 130/80. Received 30 sessions of magnetic therapy for 50 minutes. During the course of treatment, she began to notice a decrease in attacks, and an ECG control after the 20th session confirmed a decrease in attacks. Objectively, at the end of the first course of magnetic therapy, the Robinson index increased to 258, the ECG showed a normal sinus rhythm. Subjective preserved the presence of a rare extrasystole (up to 5 per day). Paroxysms flicker absent. For 14 months she felt practically healthy, did not use medication. 15 months later,
