Abstract

Description

Technical field

The invention relates generally to the field of packaging. In particular, it relates to a cardboard package or similar packaging means, which consists of interconnected parts and which are designed so that the package can be quickly aligned.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The longitudinal walls 3 are provided with flaps 9 at each end thereof. The carton 22 shows the longitudinal walls 2 and their flaps 9 having a greater height than the transverse walls 6, each of the longitudinal walls 3 having a flap of the cover 24 in the form of a half-cover.

The formation of the package from the carton matrix 22 is accomplished by connecting the outer sides of the flaps 9 to the inner sides of the transverse walls 6, and only at the points of contact between the divisible portions 12 and 18. This connection may be accomplished by gluing, stitching or any other means. After the package has been formed, the flaps of the cover 24 are folded and the closure of the package is terminated by an adhesive strip 25 which is located on the flap connection of the cover 24 as shown in Figure 5.
