Abstract
In accordance with an embodiment of the invention, a chart generating system for generating a chart and determining a trend thereof is disclosed. The chart generating system comprises a memory for storing a database. The database contains historical data values for generating the chart. The chart generating system further comprises a processor for obtaining a first data value, a second data value, a third data value and a fourth data value from the database, the first to fourth data values being obtained in consecutive time units. More specifically, each of the second to fourth data values is compared with the first data value for determining the trend of the chart by the processor of chart generating system.
