Abstract
The invention relates to a method for transferring a set position of an adjusting device (17) to an external drive unit (4) for an angle measuring device (1) having a dividing (index) plate (disc) (2) which is arranged on a connecting hub (3), and having a scanning unit for scanning the angle scale of the dividing plate (2). The scanning unit is attached to a stator (7), and the connecting hub (3) is connected to a drive shaft (5) of the external drive unit (4), e.g. of a motor. The stator (7) is attached to a mounting surface (8) of the drive unit (4). It is provided according to the invention that in the set position the stator (7) and the connecting hub (3) with the dividing plate (2) are connected to the adjusting device (17) by a detachable connecting part (21), that the angle measuring device (1) set in this way is transferred to the external drive unit (4), that the stator (7) is attached to the mounting surface (8) and the connecting hub (3) to the drive shaft (5), and that the connecting part (21) is removed. <IMAGE>
