Abstract
A device for the fire-retardant bushing of cables, lines or the like through openings in walls, ceilings or the like, having a frame which is manufactured from metal and whose unobstructed opening is divided by means of webs (7, 7a, 8), which run parallel to the frame beams (1, 2) into a plurality of regions, in which regions packing elements (5, 5a, 5b) (which are constructed with channels for accommodating cables (6, 6a, 6b), lines and the like and are manufactured from material which expands under the influence of heat) are held and are pressed onto one another by means of spindles (10). In this case, the mutually parallel webs (7, 7a) of a first group extend integrally between the frame beams (1, 2) which are aligned transversely with respect thereto and are permanently connected to them, while in contrast the webs which run transversely with respect thereto of a second group are formed by subelements (8) which are arranged between the continuous webs (7, 7a) and are detachably connected to them. <IMAGE>
