Abstract
The invention refers to a device for connecting a bicycle pedal (2) with a cycling shoe designed for the device (1), of the type which is fixed to the outside of the shoe's sole and is equipped with a device (6) for easy connection with an essentially axel-shaped pedal, possibly equipped with flanged end pieces, at which the device forms a block (5) with at least one downward, backward protruding finger (6), which with that part fixable to the sole (5) forms an open groove (7) essentially in a right angle alongside the shoe, with a semi-circular extent of somewhat more than 180 degrees and with essentially the same radius as the pedal axel (2) between the said flanged end pieces, through which the device (1) is connectable with and disconnectable from the pedal axel (2) by guiding it inward and respectively outward from the said groove (7) through its rear opening, at which the edges of the said fingers (6) are temporarily caused to bend aside somewhat.<IMAGE>
