Abstract
This disclosure relates to an electrode assembly (1) for an energy storage device. The electrode assembly (1) comprises a first inner active layer and a first outer active layer. The first inner active layer and the first outer active layer each comprise a conductive additive and a binder. The conductive additive in the first inner active layer and the first outer active layer are different, and/or the ratio of conductive additive to binder in the first inner active layer is different to the ratio of conductive additive to binder in the first outer active layer.
