Abstract
A thermal management system (10, 10’, 10”) for a vehicle (20) is disclosed, wherein the vehicle (20) comprises a number of propulsion batteries (b1), and wherein the system (10, 10’, 10”) comprises a first heat pump circuit (hi) comprising a first evaporator (e1), a second heat pump circuit (h2) comprising a second evaporator (e2), a first coolant circuit (1) exchanging heat with the first evaporator (e1), a second coolant circuit (2) exchanging heat with the second evaporator (e2), and a battery coolant circuit (b) arranged to cool the number of propulsion batteries (b1) using coolant from first coolant circuit (1). The system (10, 10’, 10”) further comprises a conduit assembly (2c) and a valve (v2) controllable to a state in which coolant from the second coolant circuit (2) is mixed into the first coolant circuit (1) via the conduit assembly (2c). The present disclosure further relates to a vehicle (2) comprising a thermal management system (10, 10’, 10”).
