FIG 1 är en fragmentarisk tvärsnittsvy av de två ele-
ment som skall sammanfogas med metoden enligt uppfinningen
i en av dess utföringsformer,

FIG 3 är en perspektivvy motsvarande den i FIG 2 av
en andra utföringsform enligt uppfinningen, och

en tredje utföringsform enligt uppfinningen.
Detaljerad beskrivning av uppfinningen
I den illustrativa utföringsformen visad i FIG 1 och
2, bildar ett element 10 av plastmaterial ett tråg, och ett
annat element 11, också av plastmaterial, skall förbindas
med elementet 10 som ett hölje för att tillsammans med ele-
mentet 10 skapa ett vattentätt hölje, vilket skall inne-
sluta en elektronisk enhet, ett batteri eller annan känslig
utrustning, som måste skyddas mot främmande material, såsom
vätskor, damm, gaser och smuts, och som lämpar sig för an-
vändning under svåra förhållanden. När metoden enligt upp-
finningen används för att sammanfoga de två elementen,
skapas en kanal 12 i kanten på element 10, varvid kanalen
innefattar en bottenvägg 13 och två sidoväggar, en yttre
sidovägg 14 och en inre sidovägg 15. I kanalen bildas ett
antal skiljeväggar 16, vilka sträcker sig tvärs över
kanalen och sammanfogas som en enhet med dess botten och
sidoväggar. Den övre kanten på varje skiljevägg bildar två

gränsytor 17 och 18, vilka bildar en trubbig vinkel, och är
placerade något nedanför gränsytorna 19 och 20 hos sido-
väggarna 14 resp. 15.
Det andra elementet 11 är i kanten pà undersidan för-
sedd med en kam 21. Kammen är kontinuerlig och har samma
utsträckning som kanalen 12. Kammen har sådan bredd att den
passar i kanalen mellan dess sidoväggar 14 och 15, och
kammens gränsyta 22 bildar samma vinkel som skiljeväggens
16 gränsyta. När de två elementen 10 och 11 förs samman
kommer kammen 21, vid sin ändyta 22 i kontakt med skilje-
väggarnas 16 gränsytor, och undersidan av elementet 11
bringas i kontakt med gränsytorna 19 och 20 hos sido-
väggarna 14 och 15. Innan detta görs beläggs en av ytorna i
ömsesidig kontakt med ett klister eller ett lösningsmedel
för det plastmaterial, av vilket elementen 10 och 11 är
tillverkade, för att på så sätt förslutande fästa förbind-
ningsytorna i varandra, eller kommer de ömsesidiga förbind-
ningsytorna, efter att de har kommit i kontakt med var-
andra, att sammanfogas genom ultraljud eller friktions-
svetsning. Om svetsning tillämpas kan en positiv tolerans
erhållas mellan kammen och kanalen, varvid överskotts-
material smälter bort under svetsningen.
Kammen 21 kan sträcka sig intermittent längs med
kanalen, varvid kamdelar endast är anordnade mittemot plat-
serna för skiljeväggarna.
I utföringsformen i FIG 3 har skiljeväggarna 16 sina
gränsytor 23 i jämnhöjd med gränsytorna 19 och 20 hos sido-
väggarna 14 och 15. Elementet 11 har en plan undre yta 24,
som bringas i kontakt med och svetsas eller limmas pà
20 och 23.
FIG 4 visar ytterligare en utföringsform, där skilje-
gränsytorna 19,
väggarna är ersatta av en vàgformad vägg 25, vilken
sträcker sig längs med kanalen, och som har den övre gräns-
ytan 26 i nivà med gränsytorna 19 och 20 hos sidoväggarna
14 och 15, varvid den vàgformiga väggen bildar en enhet med

bottenväggen 13 och även med sidoväggarna 14 och 15 vid
vågtopparna hos den vàgformiga väggen.
Vilken annan utformning som helst kan fästas för att
erhålla individuella slutna celler längs med fogen mellan
de två elementen. Bottenväggen kan vara böjd på tvären och
gå samman med sidovâggarna i kanalen, som ett alternativ
till det rektangulära tvärsnittet i utföringsformerna i FIG
1 till 3.
Claims (8)
1. Metod att sammanfoga tvà element (10, 11) av plastmaterial, genom att svetsa eller limma samman ytor pà elementen, kännetecknad av att en kanal (12) skapas i det ena elementet (10), varvid kanalen delas upp av skilje- väggar (16, 25) i individuella utrymmen, fördelade längs med kanalen, och att nämnda skiljeväggar och kanalens sido- väggar (14, 15) längs med grànsytorna (17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 26) sammanfogas med det andra elementet (11) genom samman- svetsning eller limning av gränsytorna.
2. Metod enligt krav 1, kännetecknad av att kanalen (12) skapas i kanten av det ena elementet (10).
3. Metod enligt krav 1 eller 2, kännetecknad av att skiljeväggarna utformas som individuella tvärgàende väggar (16) i kanalen (12).
4. Metod enligt krav 3, kännetecknad av att det andra elementet (11) utformas med en kam (21), vilken passar i en fördjupning, som skapas av gränsytorna (17, 18) hos varje individuell tvärgáende vägg (16).
5. Metod enligt nàgot av kraven 1-4, kännetecknad av att kanalen (12) utformas med ett rektangulärt tvärsnitt.
6. Metod enligt något av kraven 1-4, kännetecknad av att kanalen utformas med en tvärgàende böjd bottenvägg, vilken gär samman med sidoväggarna i kanalen.
7. Metod enligt krav 1 eller 2, kännetecknad av att kanalen (12) utformas med ett rektangulärt tvärsnitt och att skiljeväggarna skapas av en vàgformad vägg (25), vilken sträcker sig längs med kanalen (12) och förbinds med dess botten och sidoväggar (13, 14, 15).
8. Element (10) av plastmaterial, som skall förbindas med en kàpa (11) av plastmaterial genom svetsning eller limning, kânnetecknat av en kanal skapad i nämnda element, 5156 801 vilken är uppdelad av skiljevàggar (16, 25) i individuella utrymmen fördelade längs med kanalen, varvid skiljeväggarna och kanalens sidoväggar är anordnade för förbindelse med kåpan längs med dess gränsytor.
