Admittedly, this method of manufacturing two flat bowls or a bowl with a lid is known in dosing devices for detergent and rinse aid additives, for example by DE-U-75 03 703.

Here, however, this is particularly well suited since the free flow distance performed according to DE-A-27 10 364 can also be integrated in the component.

The connecting channel leads via the connection 6 to the dishwasher's ion exchanger. Thus, when the solenoid valve is opened, the flow container 11 is first filled, and the air present therein is displaced via the ion exchanger. Then the water flows directly to the ion exchanger.

The regeneration of the ion exchanger takes place when the rinsing steps are completed, or when the said solenoid valve in the fresh water supply is closed. For regeneration, the connection 7 is opened, after which the water from the flow-through container 11 can flow out to the salt container, from which the same amount of saline solution is supplied to the ion exchanger. Since the flow-through container 11 is divided into three shafts through two different high partitions 16 and 17, at the setting position of the rotary valve shown in the figure, water flows only from the right shaft. The other two shafts remain filled all the way up to the upper edge of the partition 17.
