Способ разработки свиты угольных пластов в приконтурной зоне карьера, включающий проведение из карьера магистральных выработок, проведение выемочных выработок и выемку угля в выемочных блоках, отличающийся тем, что из магистральных выработок по каждому пласту параллельно борту карьера проводят вентиляционную выработку, из которой проходят выемочные выработки и нарезают выемочные блоки, при этом между вентиляционной выработкой и бортом карьера оставляют угольный целик, обеспечивающий качественную изоляцию выемочного участка, а выемочные блоки отрабатывают либо с оставлением угольных целиков для поддержания кровли пласта и сохранения поверхности земли и с закладкой выработанного пространства, либо с обрушением кровли пласта при предварительном снятии плодородного слоя почвы с последующей рекультивацией поверхности земли на выемочном участке.1.
