Abstract
FIELD: medical equipment; applicable in stomatology, in treatment of caries and prosthetics of teeth. SUBSTANCE: method includes exposure of tooth hard tissues to laser radiation pulse with registering of intensity of pulse of light radiation of products of tissue treatment whose peak value is used to determine the type of treated tissue. The device for embodiment of the offered method consists of successively located along optical axis pulsed laser and means for supply and focusing of laser radiation, photodetector whose input is optically conjugated with focal plane of focusing system, and device for measurement of amplitude of electron pulses whose input is conjugated electrically with, input of photodetector, and output is electrically conjugated with input of indication device. Photodetector is installed do that direction of its maximum sensitivity makes together with direction of optical axis at the output of focusing system angle α satisfying the condition a > arctg(D/2f), arc tan (D/2f), where D is clear aperture of output port of focusing system and f is focal distance of focusing system. EFFECT: reduced hazard of laser injury to patient due to possibility of determination of the type of treated tissue. 6 cl, 5 dwg
