SUBSTANCE: method includes exposure of tooth hard tissues to laser radiation pulse with registering of intensity of pulse of light radiation of products of tissue treatment whose peak value is used to determine the type of treated tissue. The device for embodiment of the offered method consists of successively located along optical axis pulsed laser and means for supply and focusing of laser radiation, photodetector whose input is optically conjugated with focal plane of focusing system, and device for measurement of amplitude of electron pulses whose input is conjugated electrically with, input of photodetector, and output is electrically conjugated with input of indication device. Photodetector is installed do that direction of its maximum sensitivity makes together with direction of optical axis at the output of focusing system angle α satisfying the condition a > arctg(D/2f), arc tan (D/2f), where D is clear aperture of output port of focusing system and f is focal distance of focusing system. Это достигается тем, что в способе обработки твердых тканей зуба лазерным излучением, включающем воздействие на ткани зуба лазерным импульсом, регистрируют интенсивность импульса светового излучения продуктов обработки ткани, по пиковому значению которого определяют тип обрабатываемой ткани. Устройство для обработки твердых тканей зуба лазерным излучением, состоящее из последовательно расположенных вдоль оптической оси импульсного лазера, а также средства доставки и фокусировки лазерного излучения, содержит фотоприемник, вход которого оптически сопряжен с фокальной плоскостью фокусирующей системы, и измеритель амплитуды электрических импульсов, вход которого электрически сопряжен с выходом фотоприемника, а выход электрически сопряжен с входом устройства индикации, причем фотоприемник установлен так, что направление его максимальной чувствительности составляет с направлением оптической оси на выходе фокусирующей системы угол α, удовлетворяющий условию a > arctg(D/2f),, где D - световой диаметр выходного окна фокусирующей системы, а f - ее фокусное расстояние.The invention relates to medical equipment and can be used in dentistry in the treatment of caries and dental prosthetics.
