Abstract
FIELD: rolling equipment. SUBSTANCE: rolling mill has in its rolling stand 1 at least two arranged one over another rolls 2, 2'; each roll 2 rests upon two necking portions 22 mounted in respective chocks, and unit 5 for controlling displacement of at least one of rolls 2, 2' parallel with its own axis. Each necking portion of movable roll 2 is mounted with possibility of sliding motion along axial direction inside supporting chock 3. At least one of necking portions 22 includes end part 24 supporting unit 5 for controlling axial motion of roll with the aid of driving member 4. At least one of rolling rolls 2 has adjustable height. Unit 5 for controlling axial motion at least of that roll with adjustable height is connected by disconnectable method with driving member 4 of that roll and installed on base 6 mounted with a possibility of sliding along respective vertical frame 11 of stand 1 between aby spaced position and driving position that may be adjusted according to level of arrangement of movable working roll.
