Abstract

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves increasing drainage area by means of application of two drains and creating intraocular fluid circulation mechanism in scleral eye cavity to create conditions for self-regulation of fluid in eye. After forming conjunctival flap 1 and superficial flap 2 and exsecting triangular flap 3 from deep layers of sclera, drain is implanted which proximal end is placed into anterior chamber of the eye. Additional hydrogel drain is laid in perpendicular to the drain so that its free ends are placed in spaces of cyclodialises 4. The scleral flap surface is fixed at least in 4 points. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in treating glaucoma at any stage. 3 dwg

Claims (1)

The invention improves the effectiveness of the treatment of all forms and stages of glaucoma. This is achieved by increasing the drainage area through the use of two drains, as well as by obtaining a mechanism for circulating intraocular fluid in the scleral cavity of the eye, under which conditions are created for self-regulation of fluid in the eye. After the formation of conjunctival 1 and superficial scleral 2 flaps, and excision from the deep layers of the sclera of the triangular flap 3, a drainage is implanted, the proximal end of which is placed in the anterior chamber of the eye. An additional hydrogel drainage is laid perpendicularly to the drainage, the free ends of which are placed in the spaces of the cyclodialysis 4. Fixation of the superficial scleral flap is carried out at least at four points.
