Abstract

The utility model is aimed at providing additional rotational and axial fixation of the acetabular component due to the germination of osteon in the pores of the inserts, preventing the destabilization of the acetabular component in the long term and reducing the cost of manufacturing the endoprosthesis.
This result is achieved by the fact that the bowl of the acetabular component of the hip joint implant is provided with inspection openings in which inserts made of titanium nickelide are installed.

Description

The utility model relates to the field of medical technology, in particular to the elements of mechanical structures used in hip arthroplasty.

A shoulder joint prosthesis is known, including a head and a shoulder leg, the distal part of which is made in the form of a rod, and the proximal has a collar with a neck and is reinforced with ribs, which are provided on the lateral side with openings in which the distal part of the rod is conical, passing into the cylinder, and the length the conical part is not less than 4/7 of the full length of the leg, the ventral and dorsal sides of the shaft are provided with recesses not less than the length of the conical part, the ribs being the same length and provided with the mounting hole in the head is an eccentric (Application №2003136639, Russian Federation. However, the known endoprosthesis is inherent in the destabilization of the acetabular component in the distant period, which is provoked by the wear products of the polymer insert of the endoprosthesis.

The objective of this utility model is to provide additional rotational and axial fixation of the acetabular component due to the germination of osteon in the pores of the inserts, as well as preventing the penetration of wear products through the use of a screw plug and destabilization of the acetabular component in the long term.

The problem is solved in that in the acetabular component of the hip joint replacement containing a cup having inserts and a plug in the cup

at least three inspection openings have been made, in which inserts are installed, each of which is made in the form of a cylinder, one end which is conically pointed and the second equipped with a cylindrical head, each of the inserts made of porous titanium nickelide, and the plug made of solid nickelide titanium.

The utility model is explained in a detailed description and diagrams in which:

The utility model contains a bowl 1 of the acetabular component of the endoprosthesis (Figure 1), in which at least three inspection holes are made 2. In the central part of the bowl 1 of the acetabular component of the endoprosthesis, a mounting hole 3 is made in which a plug 4 made of a screw is installed.

Moreover, each of the inserts 5 is made in the form of a cylinder 6, one end of which is conically pointed, and the second is equipped with a cylindrical head 7 (Figure 2). In addition, each of the inserts 5 is made of porous titanium nickelide.

A utility model is used as follows.

In the bowl 1 of the acetabular component of the hip joint prosthesis made of VT-6 titanium alloy, at least three viewing holes 2 are made (Fig. 1). Insert 5 is made of porous titanium nickelide. The diameter of the legs of each insert 5, immersed in the bone of the acetabulum, is 7 mm, length 10 mm Preliminary, a hole with a diameter of 6 mm is planned to be drilled in the bottom of the acetabulum, projected onto the viewing holes of the bowl 1 of the endoprosthesis, after its installation in the acetabulum. Each of the inserts 5 is tightly installed in the holes of the acetabulum bottom planned by the drill (Figure 2). The diameter and height recorded in the acetabular component of the endoprosthesis, the cylindrical head 7 (cap) of the insert 5 is 8 mm and 2 mm, respectively. With this installation of the cylindrical head 7 (cap) of each of the inserts 5, after installation, they are at the same level with the inner surface of the bowl 1 of the endoprosthesis. In the future, do not interfere with the full installation of the polymer liner.

After installing the cup 1 of the endoprosthesis, the plug 4, which is made screw, is technically simply screwed into the corresponding mounting hole 3 until bone resistance occurs (Figure 1). If necessary, plug 4 can be removed.

The proposed acetabular component of the hip joint endoprosthesis allows due to its modernization to provide strong fixation after surgery, which is achieved in the early period due to mechanical fixation sufficient for the period of osteon germination in the pores of titanium nickelide, which in turn provides reliable fixation in the distant period.

In addition, it helps to prevent the destabilization of the acetabular component in the long term by not penetrating finely dispersed polyethylene through the inspection and installation holes of the endoprosthesis bowl to the implant contact border in the long term. It prevents aseptic loosening of the component of the endoprosthesis with its subsequent destabilization and migration.

In this case, the installation of inserts and plugs in the acetabular component of the endoprosthesis does not cause a significant increase in the duration of the operation.

The acetabular component of the hip joint prosthesis containing a cup having inserts and a plug, characterized in that at least three inspection holes are made in the cup, in which inserts are installed, each of which is made in the form of a cylinder, one end of which is conically pointed, and the other is provided with a cylindrical a head, wherein each of the inserts is made of porous titanium nickelide, and the plug is made of solid titanium nickelide screw.
