Abstract

A device for measuring the density of a water-oil mixture relates to the oil industry. The device comprises a flow-through measuring vessel of constant volume, made in the form of a cylindrical container for the flow of a high-pressure water-oil mixture, with a low degree of roughness of the internal walls, rigidly bonded to the beam of the weighing device with the middle part of the side surface. Flexible openings of high pressure are connected to the openings located at the ends of the measuring vessel, and the beam is rigidly fastened to a rod, the ends of which are pressed into bearings and placed on parallel bearings having a common base, and mounted to rotate around the axis of the rod, with an additional sensor linear displacement, rigidly bonded to the common base of the supports, and a nut fixing the position of the balancing load on the beam. Fig. 1.

Description

The utility model relates to the oil industry, namely, to determine the density of the water-oil mixture of various fields.

A device for measuring the density of a liquid [1] is known, containing a cylindrical vessel with fittings and taps at the inlet and outlet, a needle for selecting a controlled fluid located in the lower part of the vessel and a piston with an axial hole inside. The piston is connected to a hollow rod having a hole in the upper part perpendicular to the axis of the rod, connected by a tube and a valve with fittings for draining the fluid taken from the pipeline, and a second piston is placed in the inner cavity of the rod, equipped with a piston stroke limiter made in the form of a lock ring of non-magnetic material with a cover on the outer surface of which is placed a magnetic disk.

The disadvantage of this design is the impossibility of its use for measuring the density of a continuous flow of a fluid oil-water mixture.

A device for measuring the density of a fluid mixture [2], containing a measuring vessel, which is suspended between two spiral tubes - the inlet and outlet to the weighing device.

The closest in design device for measuring the density of a fluid mixture, for example, water-oil mixture [3], containing a flow-through measuring vessel of constant volume, a U-shaped tube, the ends of which are flexibly connected to a source and receiver of a controlled fluid. In the middle part, namely, in the center of gravity, the tube is connected by means of a suspension to the beam of a weight measuring device with a pneumatic or inductive measuring transducer. A balancing load movable along the beam is installed at one end of the beam, and a power compensation system is provided at the opposite end.

After conducting an empirical calibration, the device allows you to measure the density of the flowing controlled environment.

The disadvantage of this design is the low reliability of the device due to the need to suspend a U-shaped tube. The occurrence of a torque at high pressure of the flowing medium and the presence of paraffin reduces the accuracy of the measurement.

The problem to be solved in this utility model is to achieve high accuracy and reliability of measuring the density of a continuous flow of a water-oil mixture.

To solve the problem in a device for measuring the density of a fluid oil-water mixture containing a flow measuring vessel of constant volume, the inlet and outlet of which are provided with an inlet flexible connection with a source and an output flexible connection with a fluid mixture receiver. The measuring vessel is fastened with a weight measuring device in the form of a rocker arm and a balancing load movable along the rocker arm. Flow measuring vessel of constant volume is made in the form

a cylindrical tank, with a low degree of roughness of the inner walls mounted on the opposite, relatively balancing load, end of the rocker arm and rigidly fastened with it in the middle of the side surface, for the flow of the oil-water mixture of high pressure, the inlet and outlet flexible connections are made in the form of flexible high-pressure inlets to the inlet and outlet openings located at the ends of the measuring vessel. The beam is installed with the possibility of rotation around the axis of the rod and rigidly fastened with it. The ends of the rod are placed on parallel bearings having a common base, and are pressed into bearings. Additionally, a linear displacement sensor is installed, rigidly fastened to the common base of the supports and a nut that fixes the position of the balancing load on the beam.

Figure 1 presents a General view of a device for measuring the density of a fluid oil-water mixture.

A device for measuring the density of a fluid oil-water mixture consists of a measuring vessel — 1, a rocker arm — 2, a balancing weight — 3 with a fixing nut — 4, a rod — 5, rigidly fastened to the rocker arm 2 and pressed into bearings 6. The ends of the rod are placed on parallel bearings 7 having a common foundation. The linear displacement sensor - 10 is rigidly fixed to the base of the supports 7. The input flexible high pressure supply 9 is installed in the lower part of the measuring vessel 1, the output flexible high pressure supply 8 is installed in the upper part of the measuring vessel 1.

The device operates as follows - upon receipt of the oil-water mixture through the inlet flexible supply 9 to the measuring vessel 1 and its leakage from the output supply 8 there is a continuous

the flowing mixture is weighed using a balancing weight 3 and a fixing nut 4. In this case, the beam 2 rotates around the axis of the rod 5 and the rod 5 itself in the bearings 6. The linear displacement sensor detects the pre-calibrated mixture density values depending on the deviation of the beam, where the minimum deviation value the beam corresponds to the weight of water in the measuring vessel, and the maximum value is the weight of dehydrated oil.

The advantage of this utility model is the high accuracy of measuring the density of the oil-water mixture with a relative measurement error of not more than 1%, which is achieved by calibrating the device by weighing two liquid media, i.e. water and oil. The flow of water-oil mixture at high speed and at high pressure, as well as the use of a cylindrical measuring vessel with a low roughness of the inner walls, reduces the level of paraffin deposition, which ensures high measurement accuracy.

Simplicity of design reduces the cost of the device and increases its reliability.
