Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the technology of building materials, namely, to methods for manufacturing heat-insulating and structural-heat-insulating building products using foamed polystyrene.
To ensure the required performance characteristics of polystyrene concrete products, it is necessary to ensure uniform distribution of polystyrene foam granules in the mortar mixture and their strong adhesion to the cement stone. In accordance with GOST R 51263-2012 at a density of 400, 500, 600 kg / m 3, the compressive strength of polystyrene concrete must be at least B 1.5, B2 and B2.5, which corresponds to a compressive strength of at least 1.9, 2.5 and 3.1 MPa. However, the fulfillment of these requirements is associated with the implementation of very long and energy-intensive processes.
A known method of manufacturing a polystyrene concrete product using quicklime (see US Pat. No. 2132835, IPC 6 С04В 38/10, 40/00, 1999), according to which a foam concrete mixture is prepared containing Portland cement, granular polystyrene foam, TPP ash, lime lime, technical foam and water. When preparing the mixture, Portland cement, expanded polystyrene granules and water are first mixed in a high-speed concrete mixer, after which technical foam, TPP ash and lime-lime are added while mixing. The prepared foam concrete mixture is poured into the mold and after daily hardening in room conditions it is subjected to heat treatment for 12 hours at a temperature of 80-85 ° C. The obtained samples of polystyrene concrete had a density of 250-350 kg / m 3 compressive strength of 0.25-0.64 MPa.
The disadvantage of this method is the long heat treatment and the use of technical foam as a blowing agent, which does not provide reliable adhesion of polystyrene foam granules with Portland cement, which reduces the strength of concrete.
There is also known a method of manufacturing a polystyrene concrete product using quicklime (see US Pat. 1551704 RF, IPC 5 С04В 40/02, 1990), including the preparation of a concrete mixture containing a mineral binder in the form of lime-boiling, foamed polystyrene, ground sand, 3% hydrochloric acid solution or tripoli and water. The prepared concrete mix is placed in a mold with a metal perforated tray and lid, kept for 6-10 minutes and heated with currents of industrial frequency according to the regime: temperature rise to 70-80 ° C for 3-4 minutes and holding for 10-12 minutes . Due to the hydration of lime, the temperature of the concrete mixture rises to 95-98 ° C and polystyrene is foamed. Then, the temperature of the mixture is increased by electric heating to 108-110 ° C for 4-5 minutes, after which the mold is placed in a steaming chamber preheated to 60-70 ° C and steamed for 3-4 hours, followed by cooling of the product for 1.5 -2.5 hours. The duration of the technological cycle was 5-7.2 hours. The obtained product samples at a density of 400-500 kg / m 3 had a strength of 4.2-4.8 MPa.
The disadvantages of this method, with high strength indicators, are increased energy costs due to the presence of a two-stage electrical heating of the concrete mixture by currents of industrial frequency, and a significant duration of the method. Electric heating of the concrete mixture in wet conditions is fraught with the possibility of short circuit, which reduces the electrical safety of the method.
The invention is aimed at achieving a technical result, which consists in reducing energy costs and the duration of the method while ensuring high strength characteristics of the products.
The technical result is achieved by the fact that in the method of manufacturing a polystyrene concrete product using quicklime, which includes foaming polystyrene, preparing a concrete mixture containing a mineral binder, siliceous component, foamed polystyrene and water, laying the mixture in a mold with a lid, raising the temperature of the mixture, expanding the polystyrene granules , placing the form in a preheated steaming chamber, isothermal exposure of the mixture in the chamber and cooling the product, according to the invention, penivanie polystyrene is carried out during the hydration of quicklime to ensure foaming coefficient K aux = 8-10, in the concrete mix gassing agent is administered in the form of aluminum powder, a mineral binder used as a Portland cement, water charge at a temperature 5-15 ° C, steam chamber preheated to a temperature of 40-45 ° C, after placing the mold in the chamber, the temperature is increased to 90-100 ° C for 0.5-1 hours with expansion of the aerated concrete mixture, after which isothermal exposure is carried out for ue 2.5-3.5 hours with pre-foaming polystyrene beads.
The technical result is also achieved by the fact that the foaming of polystyrene is carried out at a mass ratio of lime: polystyrene: water, equal to 1: 0.9-1.0: 1.1-1.2, for 3.0-3.5 minutes.
The essential features of the claimed invention, which determine the scope of legal protection and are sufficient to obtain the above technical result, perform functions and relate to the result as follows.
The foaming of polystyrene during the hydration of quicklime to ensure a foaming coefficient of Ksp = 8-10 allows you to use the heat of interaction of quicklime with water for foaming polystyrene, which eliminates the energy consumption for foaming polystyrene. The temperature of lime hydration reaches 90-105 ° C, which is sufficient for foaming polystyrene. The resulting hydrated lime can be removed from the process or used to prepare the concrete mix.
Sub-foaming of polystyrene to a foaming coefficient of less than 8 can lead to under-foaming of polystyrene during subsequent heat treatment, and foaming to a coefficient of foaming of more than 10 can lead to insufficient compression of polystyrene granules.
The introduction of a gas-forming additive in the form of aluminum powder into the concrete mix ensures an increase in the volume of the aerated concrete mix and contributes to the comprehensive enveloping of polystyrene granules with compression and reliable adhesion of the granules to the mortar mixture. To do this, it is necessary to mold the products in a form that is closed on top by a lid, because as a result of a chemical reaction of aluminum powder with lime contained in Portland cement, or in a specially introduced lime-containing component, hydrogen gas is released, which swells and increases the volume of the mortar component of the concrete mixture. As a result of this, when the product is molded in closed form, the concrete partitions between the polystyrene granules are compacted and hardened, which increases the strength of polystyrene concrete.
The use of Portland cement as a mineral binder makes it possible to obtain polystyrene concrete with high strength characteristics, as well as increased frost, water and weather resistance.
The use of cold water with a temperature of 5-15 ° C eliminates the cost of thermal energy for heating water (50-70 ° C using traditional aerated concrete technology) and slows down the gas formation and expansion of the mixture, since these processes directly depend on the temperature of the concrete mixture, which is optimal in the range of 40-45 ° C. Slowing down these processes eliminates premature swelling of the aerated concrete mixture and performs the operations necessary for molding the product in a quiet mode. A water temperature below 5 ° C is undesirable due to the lengthening of the process of heating the aerated concrete mixture to the required temperature of gas formation and expansion, and at a temperature of water above 15 ° C, the aerated concrete mixture may begin to expand before the end of the molding operation.
Preheating the steaming chamber to a temperature of 40-45 ° C provides accelerated heating of the concrete mixture to the desired gas formation temperature. Heating a steaming chamber to a temperature below 40 ° C prolongs the heating of the mixture, and heating to a temperature above 45 ° C can lead to increased temperature gradients and uneven swelling of the aerated concrete mixture over the cross section of the molded product.
The temperature increase after placing the mold in the chamber to 90-100 ° C for 0.5-1 hours and isothermal exposure for 2.5-3.5 hours provide steaming of the product with expansion of the aerated concrete mixture and the expansion of polystyrene granules, which ultimately leads to to increase the strength of polystyrene concrete products.
Raising the temperature to 90-100 ° C for less than 0.5 hours can lead to uneven heating of the product over the cross section, and more than 1 hour - to lengthen the heat treatment process.
Isothermal exposure for less than 2.5 hours does not provide the required strength of the polystyrene concrete product, and more than 3.5 hours does not provide a noticeable increase in strength and leads to unreasonable energy costs.
