Description

The invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to compositions of alloys based on iron, which can be used in mechanical engineering.

Known alloy based on iron containing wt. %: carbon 0.001-0.006; silicon 0.1-1.0; manganese 0.1-1.0; chrome 20.0-24.0; aluminum 3.5-4.5; nitrogen 0.001-0.005; molybdenum 0.5-1.5; yttrium 0.03-0.5; iron - the rest [1].

The objective of the invention is to increase the toughness of the alloy.

The technical result is achieved in that the alloy based on iron, including carbon, silicon, manganese, chromium, aluminum, molybdenum, yttrium, additionally contains lanthanum and cobalt, and the components are in the following ratio, wt. %: manganese 0.5-1.0; chrome 20.0-24.0; aluminum 3.5-4.5; molybdenum 0.3-0.4; yttrium 0.1-0.3; lanthanum 2.5-3.0; cobalt 7.0-10.0; iron is the rest.

The table shows the compositions of the alloy based on iron.

Figure 00000001

Chrome, manganese, molybdenum, cobalt, aluminum, yttrium, lanthanum increase the toughness of the alloy. Cobalt, lanthanum and molybdenum prevent the occurrence and development of cracks under mechanical stress.

The alloy can be smelted in electric furnaces.
