Abstract

FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: combined hand tool contains two handles, with the axe blade positioned at one handle end, at the end side of which the recess and cutting edge is formed, and hanner head located at the other handle end, on the end side of which the recess and cutting edge is formed. The handles are coaxial and movably connected between each other, so that the recesses formed at its ends are positioned opposite each other with the opportunity to form, while attaching, the axe, the key or the gripper handles. At the handles ends, located opposite to the axe blade and hammer head, the handle attachement fixture is installed to lock them in the attached position, consisting of the spring-loaded latch on the mentioned end of one handle and the mating part to insert the latch in it at the mentioned end of the other handle. The latch is performed with the poplock to prevent the fixing of handles in the attached position, when performing operations by the axe, key or gripper. At the mentioned ends of the handle the clamps to grip with the hand are installed, tapering to the mentioned ends of the handles and made with the damper and friction coating, and the mentioned end of one of the handles is made with the wedge tip.

Description

The invention relates to the field of universal devices of combined hand tools, combining the functions of several tools, and can most effectively be used both in everyday life during construction and repair work, and, in particular, in engineering and sapper units and emergency rescue services.
A device for hand tools "ax fire", which performs only chopping function (Interstate standard GOST 16714-71 "Hand-held non-mechanized fire-fighting tools. Technical conditions" (approved and put into effect by the USSR State Standard on February 22, 1971 No. 298).
Also known is a multi-purpose fitter’s and carpenter’s tool containing an ax, a hammer, pliers, pincers, a wire cutter, a hacksaw, a penknife combined into a single articulated and integral construction (“Multi-purpose fitter’s and carpentry tools”, utility model certificate RU 8297 U1 from 23.02 .98 g.). The disadvantage of this device is that it is designed to carry out minor household repairs. Work is carried out by him, holding it with one hand, while there is no latch handle.
Of the known technical solutions for combined hand tools, the closest in technical essence is a multifunctional hand tool, which is a device containing two coaxially and movably connected spring-loaded handles, at the ends of which work surfaces are formed that implement a set of tools, such as an hatchet, adjustable spanner, pliers and wire cutter (Multi-functional manual forcible entry tool. CN 201693524 (U) - 2011-01-05).
The reasons that impede the achievement of the technical result indicated below when using the known device adopted for the prototype include its small size and the design solution of the tool, implying its operation with one hand (this is indicated by a spring installed between the handle, which extends the handle when using the tool as nippers or pliers), which limits the scope of this tool to its use in the implementation of minor household repairs.
The objective of the invention is to expand the arsenal of devices of combined hand tools by creating a device with increased comfort and efficiency when using, expanded functionality of the tool, combining the functions of an ax, cutter, key, grab, crowbar and sledgehammer, as well as enhancing the instrumental impact when using this devices.
The problem is solved due to the fact that a combined hand tool is created, containing two handles, with an ax blade located on one end of one handle, a recess and a cutting edge formed on its end side, and a hammer hammer located on one end of the other handle, on the end the side of which a recess and a cutting edge are formed, while the handles are coaxially and movably connected to each other so that the recesses formed at their ends are located opposite each other with the possibility of image when reducing the handle of the torch, key or grip, in which, according to the claimed technical solution, at the ends of the handles located opposite the blade of the ax and the hammer of the sledgehammer, a knot fixation unit is installed to fix them in the reduced position, consisting of a spring-loaded latch on the said end of one handle and a reciprocal a part for inserting into it a latch at said end of the other handle. In this case, the latch is made with a lock to prevent fixation of the handles in the reduced position when performing operations by means of a cutter, key or grip. Moreover, at the mentioned ends of the handle brackets are installed for hand grip, tapering to the said ends of the handles and made with a damping and friction coating, and the said end of one of the handles is made with a wedge-shaped tip.
The analysis of the technique carried out by the applicant, including the search by patent and scientific and technical sources of information, and the identification of sources containing information about analogues of the claimed invention, allow us to establish that the applicant did not find an analogue characterized by features identical to all the essential features of the claimed invention.
The invention is illustrated by the following drawings, which depict:

on which the first handle 1, the second handle 2, coaxial and movable connection 3, the blade of the ax 4, the hammer head 5, the cutting edges 6, the recesses 7, the surfaces of the clamping jaws 8, the hand grip staples 9, the grip places of the hand 10, the fixing unit 11, the wedge-shaped tip 12, the recess 13 on the first handle 1, the wedge-shaped latch 14, the spring 15, the lock 16, the latch 17, the spring 18, the wedge-shaped protrusion 19 at the end of the second handle 2, the lock 20.
The device operates as follows.
The combined tool combines the functions of an ax, sledgehammer, cutter, key, grab and scrap.
When implementing the “ax” and “sledgehammer” functions, the handles 1 and 2 of the combined tool are brought together and rigidly fixed by the fixing unit 11 (Fig. 1). The tool is held with two hands: one hand is located on the combined handles 1 and 2 in close proximity to the tool nozzles, the other hand is located on the bracket 9 (Fig. 3, a). In the case of using the combined tool as an "ax", it must be held by the bracket 9 located on the handle 1, when using the tool as a "sledgehammer" it must be held by the bracket 9 of the handle 2.
When implementing the functions "cutter", "key" and "capture" of the handle 1 and 2 of the combined tool fixing unit 11 are not fixed (Fig. 2). The tool is held with two hands on the staples 9 of the handles 1 and 2 (Fig. 3, b).
When implementing the function of "scrap" the handles 1 and 2 of the combined tool are reduced and fixed by the fixing unit 11 (Fig. 1). The tool is held with two hands, which are located on the combined handles 1 and 2 in the immediate vicinity of the tool nozzles (Fig. 3, c).
The hand grip points of the tool are equipped with an antifriction and damping coating 10, which can be either a single layer coating of an elastic material such as rubber, or a multilayer coating containing composite materials that provide the required antifriction and damping properties that contribute to reliable and comfortable holding of the tool.
The fixing unit 11 is made in one of two ways.
In the first case, a recess 13 is formed at the tip of the first handle 1, and a spring-loaded wedge-shaped latch 14 is located at the end of the second handle 2 (Fig. 4, a). When mixing the handles 1 and 2, the latch 14, compressing the spring 15, passes the edge of the recess 13, and once in the recess 13 under the action of the spring 15 extends and fixes the handles 1 and 2 in the reduced position. To unlock the handles 1 and 2, the latch 14 is manually pulled out and pulled out of the recess 13. When working with a combined tool as a “cutter”, “key” or “grab”, the latch 14 is pushed and locked by the lock 16 so as to prevent fixing of the brought together handles 1 and 2.
In the second case, a spring-loaded latch 17 is located on the tip of the first handle 1, and the end of the second handle 2 is formed in the form of a wedge-shaped protrusion 19 (Fig. 4, b). When mixing the handles 1 and 2, the end of the second handle 2, shifting the spring-loaded latch 17, passes its edge. As soon as the end of the second handle 2 passes the edge of the latch 17, it extends under the action of the spring 18 and fixes the handles 1 and 2 in the reduced position. To unlock the handles 1 and 2, the latch 17 is manually pulled and the second handle 2 is released. When working with a combined tool as a “cutter”, “key” or “grabber”, the latch 17 is pushed back and locked by the lock 20 so as to prevent the fixed handles 1 and 2 from fixing.
As the springs 15 and 18 can be used coil springs working on compression and tension, leaf springs, spring elements made of rubber.
The locks 16 and 20 can be structurally made in the form of a locking bolt, a screw clamp of the “wing” type, a spring-loaded latch, etc.
In order for the working surfaces of the “cutter”, “key” and “grip” to close, at the ends of the handles 1 and 2 there are mounted brackets 9 for gripping the tool 9, for which the combined tool is held. In this case, the hands do not interfere with closing the handles 1 and 2, which ensures the closure of the working surfaces of the "cutter", "key" and "capture".
There are several options for the implementation of the grips of the tool 9. One of the options is a "p" -shaped brackets mounted on the ends of the arms 1 and 2 (Fig. 5, a). Moreover, the gap of the bracket decreases to the ends of the arms 1 and 2. Such a “slanting” of the bracket relative to the axis of the arms 1 and 2 increases the ergonomics of the grip of the tool and the comfort of use when using it as an ax or sledgehammer.
Another embodiment of the grip staples of the tool 9 is their formation by imparting corresponding bends to the ends of the arms 1 and 2 (Fig. 5, b). In this case, the combined tool acquires additional convenience when working with it as a crowbar, namely, it becomes possible to place the legs in the opening of the brackets 9 (Fig. 3, d).
Thus, the above information indicates that when using the inventive device the following set of conditions:
- a tool embodying the claimed device in its implementation, is intended for use both in everyday life during construction and repair work, and, in particular, in units of the Ministry of Emergencies of the country;
- for the claimed device in the form as described in the independent clause of the claims, the possibility of its implementation using the means and methods described in the application or known prior to the priority date is confirmed;
- a tool that embodies the claimed invention in its implementation, is able to achieve the technical result perceived by the applicant, consisting in increasing comfort and functionality, expressed in combination of several tools in one tool, which allows you to effectively and quickly change the function of the toolbox literally without letting go of it , which is extremely important in situations requiring a quick response.
The proposed device in comparison with the prototype, which is designed for use in the implementation of minor household repairs, allows you to work with it with two hands, which as a result increases the power of the instrumental impact.
The combination of the functions of several tools in the design of the proposed device, such as “ax”, “sledgehammer”, “cutter”, “key”, “grab” and “scrap” allows you to conveniently and without loss of time switch from one type of instrumental impact to another, which makes the most effective use of this device in engineering combat engineer units, units of the Ministry of Emergencies and other emergency services.
An additional operational convenience of the proposed device is the ergonomic grip of the tool in the "ax" and "sledgehammer" due to the slanting of the bracket relative to the axis of the handles.

Claims (3)

1. A combined hand tool containing two handles, with an ax blade located on one end of one handle, on the end side of which a recess and a cutting edge are formed, and with a hammer hammer located on one end of the other handle, on the end side of which a recess and a cutting edge are formed , while the handles are coaxially and movably interconnected in such a way that the recesses formed at their ends are located opposite each other with the possibility of formation when the handles of the cutter, key or grip are formed, characterized in that at the ends of the handles located opposite the blade of the ax and the hammer hammer, there is a knot fixing unit for fixing them in the reduced position, consisting of a spring-loaded latch on the said end of one handle and a mating part for inserting the latch on the said end of the other handle, wherein the latch is made with a lock to prevent fixation of the handles in the reduced position when the tool performs operations by means of a cutter, key or grip, and at the mentioned ends of the handle Credited brackets hand grip, tapering towards said end of the handle and adapted to the damping and frictional coating and said one end of one of the handles is formed with a tapered tip.
