Description

FIELD OF TECHNOLOGY

The proposed invention, in General, relates to a container, and in particular to a rigid container with an open top and a lifting device for the top cover.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In general, in the art, a rigid container with a top cover made in one piece comprises a body and a top cover. Currently, the top cover of the container is locked or unlocked by a lock of the top cover mounted on the side of the container body. Typically, the operator first, while standing on the platform or using the ladder, opens the connection lock between the top cover and the container body, and then the forklift or crane lifts and conveys the top cover using jacks for forks or via a hanging plate located on the top cover of the container.

The known lifting device is inconvenient, since the opening of the top cover of the container and its lifting are performed in two separate stages.

The foregoing information regarding the prior art is used only to better understand the premises of the invention. Therefore, it may contain data that is not related to the prior art known to the person skilled in the art.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The technical problem that is solved by the proposed invention is to create a rigid container with an open top and a lifting device for the top cover, eliminating the disadvantages inherent in the known rigid container with an open top.

The proposed invention provides technical solutions that solve the above technical problem.

In accordance with one aspect of the invention, there is provided a rigid top-openable container that comprises a housing, a top cover, at least one top cover lock and at least one lifting device. The upper cover covers the upper part of the container body, and the specified at least one lock is mounted on the upper cover for locking the upper cover with the container body, while the lower part of the upper cover lock is made with a locking hook that can be attached to the container body, the upper part of the lock the upper cover is rotatably attached to the upper cover, and the rear end of the upper part of the lock of the upper cover is made with a push lever that can rotate the lock of the upper cover to separate the lock of the hook from the container body, wherein the top cover has at least one lifting device for lifting the top cover.

In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, the lock of the top cover is L-shaped.

In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, the lifting device is a lifting element of the top cover or an opening for lifting the top cover.

In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, the lifting element of the top cover and the lock of the top cover are integrally formed.

In accordance with another aspect of the invention, there is provided a lifting device for the top lid of a rigid container with an openable top, which comprises a pusher head, a lifting hook and an actuator. The pusher head is located on the lower part of the lifting device and can act on the press lever of the upper cover lock to rotate the lock and separate the locking hook from the container body, while the lifting hook is rotatably located on the lifting device and can interact with the lifting device of the upper cover, this actuator is attached to the rear end of the lifting hook for pushing the lifting hook for its engagement with the lifting device or separation from it.

In accordance with an embodiment of the invention, the actuator is manual, electric, or hydraulic.

In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, the upper part of the lifting device for the top cover is made with a connecting device.

In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, the connecting device is a forklift socket for working with a forklift truck and / or a suspension plate for working with a crane.

The proposed rigid top-open container has at least one of the following advantages over the prior art.

1. The top cover of the container can be opened by means of a suitable lifting device for the top cover, thereby eliminating the step of manually opening the locks, while opening the locks and lifting the top cover is performed sequentially using the lifting device for the top cover with an improvement such way, the effectiveness of opening the top cover.

2. When loading mineral powder and hazardous products and transporting them in a rigid container with an openable top, operators on the site do not need to open the locks and transport the top cover, which saves time, labor and is safe and reliable.

In FIG. 6 is a schematic view of a second embodiment of a rigid top-open container and a lifting device for a top cover in accordance with the invention when the top cover is lifted by a crane.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Illustrative embodiments of the invention are described in detail below with reference to the drawings. However, exemplary embodiments can be implemented in various ways, which should not be construed as limiting the embodiments described herein. More precisely, these embodiments are provided for a comprehensive and complete description, while the main ideas of illustrative embodiments will be fully communicated to the specialist. In the drawings, the same reference numerals denote the same or similar structures, so a detailed description thereof will not be repeated.

Rigid open top container

As shown in FIG. 1-6, an embodiment of a rigid top-open container in accordance with the invention comprises a housing 1, a top cover 2 for closing the upper part of the housing 1, at least one top cover lock 3 and at least one lifting device.

In one embodiment, the lock 3 can be mounted on the side of the upper cover 2 to block the housing 1 with the upper cover 2. The lock 3 can be L-shaped, but without limitation.

The lower part of the lock 3 can be made with a locking hook 31, which can be attached to the housing 1 of the container and can be hooked on the housing 1 from the bottom. The upper part of the lock 3 can be rotatably attached to the upper cover 2, for example, by an axis 32. The rear end of the upper part of the lock 3 is made with a press lever 33 of the lock, which can be rotated by the lifting device for the upper cover, followed by separation of the locking hook 31 from case 1.

On the side of the upper cover 2 for lifting it can be located a lifting device. The lifting device includes a top cover lifting member 4 that can cooperate with a lifting hook of the top cover lifting device 6, and a seat (not shown) for attaching the lifting member 4. In other embodiments, the lifting member 4 may be replaced by a structure such as an opening to lift the top cover. The lifting device and the lock 3 located on the top cover 2 can be made separately or as a single unit. In one embodiment, the lifting member 4 may be located at the corner of the L-shaped lock 3 of the top cover.

Option 1 Lifter for Top Cover

As shown in FIG. 1, 2 and 3, the first embodiment of the lifting device for the top cover in accordance with the proposed invention is used for a rigid container with an open top. The first embodiment of the lifting device comprises a pusher head 5, a lifting hook 6, an actuator 7 and a connecting device.

The pusher head 5 can be located on the lower part of the lifting device for the top cover and can act on the pressure lever 33 of the lock 3 to rotate the lock 3 and separate the locking hook 31 from the container body 1.

The lifting hook 6 may be rotatably mounted on the lifting device for the top cover and may be located on the side of the push rod 5. The purpose of the lifting hook 6 may be to engage the lifting element 4 on the top cover 2.

The actuator 7 may be attached to the rear end of the lifting hook 6 in order to drag and push the lifting hook 6 to engage with or separate from the lifting device. The actuator 7 may be manually actuated by an electric or hydraulic actuator, such as a pneumatic cylinder or hydraulic cylinder.

The connecting device may be located on the upper part of the lifting device for the top cover. In an embodiment, the connecting device is a socket 8 for a fork, which works with a forklift.

As shown in FIG. 2 and 3, the first embodiment of the proposed lifting device for the top cover can open the lock 3 and raise the top cover 2, interacting with the proposed rigid container. The following is an explanation of the relevant work steps.

The operator can control the forklift 10 by introducing the teeth A of the loader 10 into the slots 8 of the lifting device for the top cover; then the lifting device for the top cover is lifted up to a location directly above the container; wherein the actuator 7, such as the piston rod of the pneumatic cylinder, is retracted to rotate the lifting hook 6 to ensure that part of the lower end of the lifting hook 6 is opened outward; then the lifting device for the top cover is lowered, while the pusher head 5, located on the lifting device for the top cover, presses down the lever 33 to rotate the lock 3 to separate the locking hook 31 from the container body 1 and release the upper cover 2; then the piston rod of the pneumatic cylinder is extended to move the lifting hook 6 inward with the engagement of its lower end with the lifting element 4 of the upper cover; and then, controlling the forklift 10, raise the teeth A, separating the lifting device together with the top cover 2 from the housing 1.

In the first embodiment, the forklift performs both opening the top lid of the container and lifting the top lid. After that, the transportation of the top cover is carried out through a normal lifting operation without the presence of any other operators on the site. Therefore, such a process saves time, labor, is safe and reliable.

Option 2 lifting device for the top cover

As shown in FIG. 4, 5 and 6, the second embodiment of the proposed lifting device for the top cover is essentially the same as the first embodiment in accordance with the invention, with the exception of the following.

The connecting device may be a pendant plate 9, with which the crane works, and the plate 9 may be detachable.

Other details of the second embodiment of the lifting device for the top cover will not be further explained, since they are similar to the details of the first embodiment.

As shown in FIG. 5 and 6, the second embodiment of the lifting device for the top cover in accordance with the proposed invention can open the lock 3 and lift the top cover 2, interacting with a rigid container in accordance with the proposed invention. Below are the relevant stages of work.

The crane is connected to the suspension plate 9 and, controlling the crane, raise the plate 9 and the lifting device for the top cover to a location directly above the container, while the actuator 7, such as the piston rod of the pneumatic cylinder, is retracted to rotate the lifting hook 6 and open part of the lower the end of said lifting hook outward; then the lifting device for the top cover is lowered, while the pusher head 5 on the lifting device for the top cover pushes down the lever 33, while the lock 3 is rotated to separate the locking hook 31 from the container body 1 and release the upper cover 2; then an actuator 7, such as a piston rod of the pneumatic cylinder, is extended to rotate the lifting hook 6 to engage its lower end with the lifting element 4 of the upper cover; then, by controlling the crane, the suspension plate 9 is lifted to separate the lifting device for the top cover together with the top cover 2 from the container body 1.

In the second embodiment, the crane performs actions both to open the top cover of the container and to lift the top cover. After that, the transportation of the top cover is carried out through a normal lifting operation without the presence of any other operators on the site. Therefore, such a process saves time, labor, is safe and reliable.

In the proposed invention, the lock 3 of the upper cover can be automatically opened at a time by means of a lifting device for the upper cover instead of manually opening. After that, the lifting device for the top cover automatically engages the lifting device mounted on the top cover 2. Thus, the opening of the locks and the lifting of the top cover 2 are performed sequentially, which improves the efficiency of opening the top cover.

Industrial applicability

When using a rigid container with an openable top and a lifting device for the top cover designed for it, in accordance with the proposed invention, the opening of the lock and transportation of the top cover is carried out by controlling a forklift or crane, which saves time, labor, is safe and reliable. In particular, in accordance with the proposed invention, there is no need for operators to be present on the site, thus, the proposed invention is particularly suitable for cases where for safety reasons operators are not allowed to be on the site, for example, when transporting mineral powder or hazardous products in a rigid container with an opening on horseback.

Illustrative embodiments of the invention are shown and described in detail herein. It should be understood that the invention is not limited to the considered embodiments, but extends to various modifications and equivalent devices that fall within the essence and scope of legal protection of the attached claims.

Claims (15)

1. A rigid container with an openable top, characterized in that it contains:

an upper cover (2) covering the upper part of the container body,
at least one lock (3) of the upper cover mounted on the upper cover (2) and designed to block the upper cover (2) with the container body (1), the lower part of the lock (3) made with a locking hook (31), which can be attached to the case (1) of the container, the upper part of the lock (3) is rotatably attached to the top cover (2) and the rear end of the upper part of the lock (3) is made with a push lever (33) that can rotate the lock (3) for separating the locking hook (31) from the container body (1), and
at least one lifting device made on the top cover (2) and designed to lift the top cover (2).

3. The container according to claim 2, characterized in that the lifting device is a lifting element (4) of the top cover or an opening for lifting the top cover.
4. The container according to claim 3, characterized in that the lifting element (4) of the top cover and the lock of the top cover are made in one piece.
5. A lifting device for the upper lid of a rigid container with an openable top, characterized in that it contains:
a pusher head (5) located on the lower part of the said lifting device with the possibility of acting on the pressure lever (33) of the lock (3) of the upper cover to rotate the specified lock (3) and to separate the locking hook (31) from the container body (1),
a lifting hook (6) arranged to rotate on the specified lifting device and configured to act on the lifting device of the upper cover (2),
an actuator (7) attached to the rear end of the lifting hook (6), for pushing the lifting hook (6) for its engagement with the lifting device or separation from it.
6. A device according to claim 5, characterized in that the actuator (7) is a manual, electric or hydraulic actuator.
7. The device according to claim 5, characterized in that its upper part is made with a connecting device.
8. A device according to claim 7, characterized in that the connecting device is a socket (8) for a forks to work with a forklift and / or pendant (9) for working with a crane.
