SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of cigarette paper of low inflammability. Claimed device comprises the concave or convex surface part facing the cigarette paper with a coated portion. Besides, this device comprises a structural part receiving the energy from the heater or cooler. Note here that said cigarette paper is subjected to drying or cooling. Note also that surface part curved-shape cross-section complies with that of cigarette paper of low inflammability relative to the direction perpendicular to the displacement of cigarette paper.
EFFECT: reduced non-uniformity of drying or cooling, decreased number of undesired displacements.

Description

FIELD OF TECHNOLOGY

[1] A device for processing low-combustibility cigarette paper and a device for manufacturing low-combustibility cigarette paper are provided.

[2] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[3] Typically, for the manufacture of cigarettes, various types of leaf tobacco are blended and processed to produce the desired aroma and taste. Then, by chopping the processed leaf tobacco, ground tobacco leaves or cut tobacco are obtained and a non-filter cigarette is made by wrapping the ground tobacco leaves with cigarette paper. After that, a filter can be attached to a cigarette without a filter. The cigarette filter may contain activated carbon and a flavoring agent. The cigarette filter may be in the form of a single component filter or a multi-component filter and wrapped with wrapping paper for a cigarette filter. The crushed tobacco leaves and the filter for tobacco smoke are connected by mouthpiece paper, which may have small holes. Cigarette paper can be made not only to obtain a given amount of tar and nicotine during smoking due to the corresponding porosity and flammability, but also to give a specific flavor to the smoke of a cigarette. Cigarette paper can be made from flax or wood pulp. The low flammability cigarette paper is coated with a strip-shaped substance, such as starch, and the porosity of the coated portion is low, so that when the tobacco burn process reaches the portion containing the strip, the amount of oxygen passing into the crushed tobacco leaves is reduced and the cigarette may go out .

[4] When draining or cooling coated paper intended for low-combustibility cigarettes, coated cigarette paper may curl due to compression of the coating layer, which may result in uneven drying or cooling and poor movement of the cigarette paper.

[6] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION. TECHNICAL PROBLEM

[7] An embodiment may reduce the unevenness of draining or cooling low-combustibility cigarette paper.

[8] An embodiment may reduce the poor movement of cigarette paper with low flammability.

[9] This invention can be used to achieve other aspects not discussed in detail and other than the above objectives.

[10] SOLUTION OF THE PROBLEM

[11] An illustrative embodiment relates to a device for processing low-combustibility cigarette paper, which comprises a concave or convex surface portion facing the surface of low-combustibility cigarette paper having a coated part, and a body portion receiving energy from a heat or cooling source moreover, the specified device drains or cools cigarette paper with low flammability.

[12] The cross-sectional shape of the surface portion may correspond to the cross-sectional shape of low combustibility cigarette paper.

[13] The radius R, characterizing the degree of curvature of the surface part, can be from about 100 mm to 200 mm.

[14] An illustrative embodiment relates to a device for the manufacture of cigarette paper with low flammability, which contains a coating unit that unloads cigarette paper with low combustibility, having a coated portion due to the application of a coating composition on cigarette paper, and a processing unit that drains or cools the cigarette paper with low flammability by using a concave or convex surface portion facing the surface of said paper.

[15] The processing unit may further comprise a body portion receiving energy from a heat or cooling source.

[16] Advantages of the Invention

[17] An exemplary embodiment can reduce the unevenness of drainage or cooling of cigarette paper with low flammability and reduce the unsatisfactory movement of paper.

[32] In accordance with FIG. 1, cigarette paper 19 is fed from a roll to the coating unit 100 by means of rollers 910, 920 and 930. The coating unit 100 is a unit that applies the coating composition 17 to the cigarette paper 19. For example, the unit 100 may comprise a smooth surface roller 110 and a roller 120 with recesses on the surface. When the roller 120 rotates, the coating composition 17 is transferred to the roller 110, and then with the help of the roller 110 to the cigarette paper 19, while the coated paper 17 passes through the roller 930. The coating unit 100 may include a feeding element 140 filled with the coating composition 17. In accordance with figure 1, the element 140 can feed the composition 17 to the lower part of the roller 120. [39] As can be seen from Table 1, the moisture content in the cigarette paper 19, measured using a processing device with a concave surface, is uniform for different parts.

[40] One or more processing units 210 and 220 may be located above the cigarette paper 19, and one or more processing units 210 and 220 may be located below the cigarette paper 19.

The core portion 10 and the filter portion 20 may be connected by mouthpiece paper 29. The circumference of the cigarette may be approximately 5 mm to 30 mm. The filter portion 20 may be absent. The core portion 10 of the cigarette contains ground tobacco leaves 11 obtained from leaf tobacco processed in various ways. The filtering portion 20 of a cigarette may comprise a first filtering portion 21, which may be made of acetate tow or paper. The filter portion 20 may be a multicomponent filter containing two or more filter elements. For example, in accordance with FIG. 9, the filter part 20 may include a first part 20, a second part 22, and a third part 23. In addition, part 20 may contain three or four filter elements. The filter portion 20 may contain an absorbent and a flavoring agent. For example, the absorbent may be activated carbon, and the flavoring substance may be a substance with the smell of herbs. One or more filter elements in a multicomponent filter may contain an absorbent and / or flavoring agent. For example, in accordance with FIG. 9, the second part 22 and / or the third part 23 may contain absorbent and / or flavoring agents. Cigarette paper 19 has one or more coated parts 18. For example, the filler may be calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide or magnesium oxide. The filler used by weight may comprise from about 20% to 40% of the total weight of the cigarette paper.

1. Device for processing cigarette paper with low combustibility, containing
a concave or convex surface portion facing a surface of a low combustibility cigarette paper having a coated portion, and
a body portion receiving energy from a heat source or cooling source,
wherein said cigarette paper is dried or cooled,
wherein the curved cross-sectional shape of the surface portion corresponds to the curved cross-sectional shape of cigarette paper with low flammability with respect to a direction perpendicular to the direction of movement of the cigarette paper with low flammability.

wherein the covering unit comprises a smooth roller and a roller with recesses which are adapted to contact each other and rotate,
moreover, the coating unit is designed so that the coating composition is transferred to the smooth roller when the roller with the recesses is rotated, and then applied to the cigarette paper with a smooth roller, and
moreover, the processing unit contains a housing part receiving energy from a heat source or cooling source,
wherein the curved cross-sectional shape of the surface portion corresponds to the curved cross-sectional shape of cigarette paper with low flammability with respect to a direction perpendicular to the direction of movement of the cigarette paper with low flammability.
