Description

The invention relates to lighting equipment, namely to explosion-proof lighting devices, and is intended for operation in almost any conditions, both indoors and outdoors. The luminaire can be used for general lighting of rooms with difficult environmental conditions with a high content of explosive and flammable gases, dust and moisture: industrial, warehouse, various storage facilities, garages, agricultural premises, at gas stations, oil storage facilities, chemical and mining enterprises, airfields, other facilities with increased explosion safety requirements.

The well-known “Protected light device using a powerful LED”, consisting of an LED mounted inside an optically transparent cap (diffuser), and a housing connected to the diffuser (Utility Model Patent RU, No. 71729, IPC F21L 4/00, F21S 8/00) .

The well-known "Signal light circular view", comprising a housing with a protective cap (diffuser), several groups of light-emitting diodes mounted on it on the holder, the LEDs are made in groups on sections of the side faces of the hollow pyramid and are oriented with optical axes perpendicular to the indicated faces (RU patent No. RU 2153623, IPC F21S 2/00, F21S 8/10, F21W 111: 06, F21W 101: 12).

An explosion-proof LED lamp adopted as a prototype is known, consisting of a housing and a diffuser, several groups of light-emitting diodes, while the LEDs are made in groups on the sections of the side faces of the hollow pyramid mounted on the holder, and they are oriented by the optical axes perpendicular to the indicated faces, while free-flowing LEDs are used mounting, which are installed on the boards, and the dimensions of the boards correspond to the dimensions of the side faces of the pyramid, and the holder is made in the form of second structure coupled to the mounting base plate, and a pyramid, a disc holder and formed as a module (utility model application №2012144493, IPC F21S 8/00, F21S 8/08, F21S 8/10).

The main disadvantage of the known devices is the low operational reliability due to the low efficiency of heat removal to the environment.

The technical result, the achievement of which the claimed solution is directed, is to increase the operational reliability of the lamp.

The technical result is achieved in that in a luminaire consisting of a housing and a diffuser, several groups of housing light-emitting diodes made on boards corresponding to the dimensions of the side faces of a hollow pyramid mounted on a holder made in the form of a hollow structure, the base connected to the installation disk, is new that the top of the pyramid is truncated to form a hole and holes are made along the outer perimeter of the installation disk.

Figure 1 shows the explosion-proof LED lamp in the assembled state, respectively, figure 2 is a sectional diagram of the lamp, figure 3 is a module with LEDs.

Here: 1 - the case, 2 - the diffuser, mounted in the threaded sleeve 3, installed in the case 1, a hollow truncated pyramid 4 connected to the holder 5 and the installation disk 6, boards 7, the dimensions of which correspond to the dimensions of the side faces of the hollow pyramid 4, frameless LEDs surface mount 8, mounted on the boards 7, the hole 9 formed at the top of the truncated hollow pyramid 4, the holes 10 made on the outer perimeter of the installation disk 6.

The assembly procedure and preparation of the lamp for operation are clear from the described figures.

The module (Figure 3), consisting of a hollow truncated pyramid 4 with a hole 9 at the top, a holder 5 and a mounting disk 6 with holes 10 made along its outer perimeter, with boards 7, LEDs 8, is installed in the assembled state in the housing 1, after which the diffuser, 2 fixed in the threaded sleeve 3, is hermetically connected to the housing 1.

Improving the operational reliability of the explosion-proof lamp is achieved by the fact that inside the lamp due to the presence of holes 9 and 10, a directed circulating air flow is organized (shown in Fig. 2 by arrows), which contributes to the most efficient heat removal to the external environment. In the on state, warm air flows from the inner surfaces of the truncated pyramid 4 rise up and come into contact with the massive aluminum case 1, which ensures efficient heat removal to the environment. Cooled air through the openings 10, along the inner surfaces of the housing 1 and the diffuser 2, is lowered into the internal cavity of the diffuser and enters a new cycle by pulling through the opening 9 into the zone of higher temperature and low pressure inside the truncated pyramid.

The measures provided for in the device to create directed convection air movement inside the device increase the reliability and life of the explosion-proof LED lamp.
