The automatic parking system for passenger or like cars contains one or more entrance or exit terminals, where clients leave their cars for automatic parking and/or where they take their cars; a parking space which contains ring-shaped parking zones arranged with mutual radial offset, which zones have parking tiers located on two or more levels mutually displaced in the vertical direction and containing preferably radially oriented parking sectors for the car parking; herewith, a part of the parking tiers is made capable to rotate in the horizontal plane; a lifting device for moving cars in the vertical direction by means of one or more elevators; the horizontal movement device for moving cars horizontally, for instance in the radial direction by means of one or more horizontal conveyors; control and driving automatics providing powered movement of cars from the entrance terminal to the free parking sector and from the parking sector to the exit terminal; automatics for parking surveillance and for billing providing registration/giving parking tickets to clients, allowing them to take a car, as well as parking billing; a rotating or static central part which is empty or where facilities for realisation of one or more of the said operations are placed, herewith, one or more entrance and/or exit terminals are provided with an elevator and/or horizontal conveyor, herewith, the system contains at least one parking zone rotating horizontally and one static parking zone mutually displaced in the radial direction; herewith, one or more sectors on the parking tiers located one above another at least in one rotating parking zone are provided with one or more elevators.

Technical field
The invention relates to an automatic parking system for cars, for example, such as cars or passenger cars. The system comprises: one or more entry and / or exit terminals in which customers leave their cars for automatic parking and / or from which they pick up their cars; a parking space that includes circular parking zones arranged with mutual radial displacement, which have parking tiers located at two or more levels, mutually offset in the vertical direction, and preferably containing radially oriented parking sectors for parking a car; a lifting device for moving cars in a vertical direction by one or more elevators; a horizontal movement device for moving cars horizontally, for example in the radial direction, by means of one or more horizontal conveyors; control and drive automation, providing mechanized movement of cars from the entry terminal to the free parking sector and from the parking sector to the exit terminal; automatic equipment for parking supervision and billing, which ensures registration / issuance of a parking ticket to the customer to pick up the car, as well as billing for the parking, and a rotating or stationary central part that is empty or which contains funds for one or more of specified operations.
State of the art
To make parking more efficient, especially in an urban environment, parking facilities are currently being used that have parking tiers with mutually offset levels on which parking cells are marked. The driver drives his car into the parking structure and receives a parking ticket, for example, at the entrance checkpoint. After that, he drives through the parking lot in search of a suitable parking space for his car. To pick up his car, the driver pays for the parking lot, gets in the car and drives it through the exit checkpoint, using the payment receipt received by him. Parking facilities often use a monitoring system, especially during peak hours. This system informs (for example, using light signals such as traffic lights) whether there are free parking spaces, or reports (via a digital display) the number of free parking spaces. Even in systems of the type described, the driver may be forced to drive his car to the upper level (for example, if his car does not have enough wide parking space at the lower levels) and even turn the car at the upper level (if the parking space is not found at this level ) If the situation did not change at the time of returning to the lower levels, the driver must leave the parking structure and look for a new parking place somewhere else. Thus, parking in such structures is often a time-consuming and tedious task, especially in connection with narrow passages and parking spaces.
To make parking easier, the so-called automatic parking systems are used, as an example of which we can mention the solution described in US 5478182. This solution is based on the use of a circular stationary parking zone, in the central part of which there are elevators that rotate around a vertical axis. Together with elevators, a horizontal movement device is used to move the car from the entrance terminal to the elevator and from the elevator to the corresponding free parking space on a specific parking level and to move the car (when it is taken) from the parking space to the exit terminal.
Patent Publications WO 99/37872 and US 5,024,571 describe embodiments of such principles. At the same time, in both of these sources, it is proposed to use, for example, two radially offset stationary parking zones, and in the free spaces between the parking zones there is a lift and moving devices for mechanized movement of cars from entry terminals to free parking spaces, as well as for delivering pick-up cars from parking places to exit terminals.
A common feature of all the described solutions is that, despite measures to increase the efficiency of parking, for example, through the use of parking zones with mutual offset in the radial direction, made in the form of mutually offset tiers, space remains useless (in terms of parking) between parking areas, for example in the form of driveways inside parking structures, as well as the space reserved for elevators and moving devices. As a result, the efficiency of space use in such structures is currently considered unsatisfactory, since such systems require disproportionately large land plots.
Disclosure of invention
The automatic parking system according to the invention should provide significant progress in solving the problems considered and thereby provide a significant improvement in the level of technology. To solve this problem, the automatic parking system according to the invention is characterized, first of all, by the fact that at least one of its parking zones is rotatable around a vertical axis according to the carousel principle, and one or more sectors on the parking tiers of the parking zone (parking zones) and / or one or more entry and / or exit terminals are equipped with an elevator and / or horizontal conveyor.
As the most important advantage of the automatic parking system according to the invention, its effectiveness with respect to the maximum parking space per square meter of the structure can be indicated. Thanks to this, it becomes possible to minimize the operations of moving the car by using an adequate number of elevators and / or horizontal conveyors in the parking zones, proportional to the total capacity of the parking system. Thus, the invention makes it possible to use fuzzy logic (already widely used in lifting devices) in such a way as to allow the combination in time of the movement of the elevator / elevators up and the rotation of the movable parking zone according to the carousel principle. As a result, it becomes possible to provide a procedure for picking up cars that includes the same set and the same trajectory of movements, which allows for the simultaneous implementation of the optimal number of movements when parking cars and picking them up. In addition, in the parking system according to the invention, it becomes possible to minimize the space required for lifts and drive devices, since elevators and horizontal conveyors are effectively integrated into the parking areas. Significant advantages of the parking system according to the invention, in addition to its optimal user friendliness, are low construction costs combined with minimal requirements for the land area.
Preferred options for the automatic parking system according to the invention are disclosed in the dependent claims.

The implementation of the invention
The invention relates to an automatic parking system for cars, for example for cars. The system contains:
one or more entry and / or exit terminals 1 in which customers leave their cars for automatic parking and / or from which they pick up their cars;
parking space 2, which contains annular parking zones 2a, 2b located with mutually radial displacement, which have parking tiers 2a ', 2b' located at two or more levels, mutually offset in the vertical direction and preferably contain radially oriented parking sectors x for car parking;
a lifting device 3 for moving vehicles in a vertical direction by one or more elevators 3a;
a horizontal movement device 4 for moving cars horizontally, in a radial direction, by means of one or more horizontal conveyors 4a;
control and drive automation 5, providing mechanized movement of cars from the entry terminal to the free parking sector xt and from the parking sector xp to the exit terminal;
automatic equipment 6 for parking supervision and billing, which ensures registration / issuance of a parking ticket for a customer to pick up the car, as well as billing for parking;
and a rotating or stationary central portion 8, which is empty or in which means are arranged for performing one or more of these operations.
At least one parking zone 2a of the parking space is made to rotate (rotate) in the w direction around the vertical axis according to the carousel principle. In this case, one or more sectors x 'in the parking tiers 2a', 2b 'of the parking areas and / or one or more entry and / or exit terminals 1 are equipped with an elevator 3a and / or a horizontal conveyor 4a.
The preferred system embodiments shown in FIGS. 1, 2a, 2b and 3a, 3b, 4 are based on the fact that the provision of one or more elevators 3a and / or entry and / or exit terminals 1 with an integrated horizontal conveyor 4a enables movement cars from any parking sector on parking tiers to the elevator / terminal or vice versa.
For example, in the embodiment of FIGS. 1, 2a, 2b, it is possible to move the car from the entry terminal 1 to the parking zone 2b by means of a horizontal conveyor 4a integrated in the entry terminal 1, or by means of a horizontal conveyor available in the receiving sector x "in parking zone 2b. From there, the car can be moved to the movable parking zone 2a by means of a horizontal conveyor 4a in the elevator 3a available in sector x 'of this zone.
In a preferred embodiment of the parking system according to the invention of FIGS. 1, 2a, 2b, the movable parking zone 2a is provided with one or more elevators 3a provided with horizontal conveyors 4a, while each parking level 2b 'of one or more stationary parking zones 2b is provided with one or more horizontal conveyors 4a. If the central part 8 is used for parking, lifts 3a and / or horizontal conveyors 4a, which open in opposite directions and / or which are capable of moving cars from opposite sides, should be used.
On figa, 3b, 4 presents an alternative embodiment of the invention, in which the stationary parking zone 2b is also equipped with one or more elevators 3a, equipped with horizontal conveyors 4a. The difference between this option can also be in taking into account specific needs, for example, in the use of elevators only in part of parking tiers and in the use of horizontal conveyors on other tiers.
In one preferred embodiment, one or more entry and / or exit terminals 1 are provided with a rotary device 7 to orient the vehicle in the direction of exit and thereby facilitate the exit of the vehicle.
In another preferred embodiment, in addition to or alternative to traditional physical parking tickets, the automation 6 for parking supervision and billing is configured to transmit the parking confirmation electronically to the client, for example in the form of a text message. In this embodiment, a parking invoice is preferably produced, for example, by transferring it to the customer’s telephone number.
In order to speed up the functioning of the parking system, in particular in variants of this type, the customer’s request for the car to be sent to the exit terminal is preferably transmitted electronically, for example, as a response to a message sent earlier by the automatics 6 for parking supervision and for billing the customer with a confirmation message parking. In this case, the client can “order” his car to arrive at the terminal before he arrives at the terminal, so that by the time the client enters the terminal his car will already be there.
As shown in the accompanying drawings, the entry or exit terminal 1 is located on the outer periphery of the building in which the parking system is located. In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1, 2a, 2b, the parking sectors x ′ on the parking tiers 2b ′ of the outer (stationary) parking zone 2b are provided with one or more horizontal conveyors 4a, while the inner (mobile) parking zone 2a is provided with one or more elevators 3a, having horizontal conveyors 4a. Alternatively, as shown in FIGS. 3a, 3b, 4, the outer (movable) parking zone 2a is provided with elevators 3a having horizontal conveyors 4a, while the parking tiers 2b 'of the inner stationary parking zone are equipped with horizontal conveyors 4a and / or elevators 3a.
Alternatively, when the entry or exit terminal 1 is located on the inner periphery of the parking system, the inner parking zone 2a / 2b and / or the central part 8 is preferably provided with one or more elevators 3a having horizontal conveyors 4a.
As shown in FIGS. 5a-5d, a preferred embodiment of the horizontal conveyor 4a comprises sliding (telescopic) components 4a1 and clamping components 4a2. Telescopic components are "pulled out" of the elevator or from the sector of the horizontal conveyor (see figa and 5b), and their deployment occurs, for example, outside the area of the wheels of the moving car, after which the clamping components 4a2 are attached to the wheels of the car, for example by lifting pins, and raise the car, acting on the tread pattern. Alternatively, the clamping components can be inserted under the vehicle shaft and lift the vehicle by acting on this shaft. After that, the telescopic components 4a1, retracting, move the car into the elevator (see Figs. 5c and 5d) or onto a horizontal conveyor. Naturally, other known types of horizontal conveyor can be used in this context.
In another preferred embodiment of the parking system according to the invention, its central part 8 is equipped with means 9 for performing various auxiliary operations, such as service rooms, a staircase, a passenger elevator, a central high-pressure air conditioner, a backup power supply, a central control panel, etc.
It should be understood that the invention is not limited to the embodiments shown or described, but may be modified in various ways within the basic concept of the invention. First of all, the parking system according to the invention may have a larger number of radial zones than has been described above, for example 4 or 5 zones, of which at least every second parking zone is made rotating on the principle of a carousel. This zone can be driven in rotation partially or completely by means of underground or ground structures in such a way that one of its tiers is reserved (partially or completely) for entry and exit terminals. You can also place funds for auxiliary operations of the parking system in specially designated premises. Further, in the parking system according to the invention, it is possible to install, for example in parking zones or terminals, monitoring devices, such as motion, profile and / or temperature detectors, and / or video cameras for monitoring activity not related to the operations of the parking system, in order to give an alarm to the control center. You can also equip a parking system, in addition to conventional fire extinguishing devices, for example, technical monitoring devices, in order to monitor and, when necessary, record the parameters of electrical, pneumatic and / or hydraulic equipment and actuating components in real time. On the other hand, it is possible to interconnect several systems of the described type by means of a central control system. In addition, it is possible to place an elevator or staircase for customers, as well as a freight or passenger elevator for maintenance personnel in the central part of the parking system or in its external structures.
If the parking space contains only one movable parking zone, you can use one or (when necessary) several entry and / or exit terminals built into the elevators. If the parking system is based on the idea that people should not be in the parking zone, you can, for example, use the structure of fireproof cells from which oxygen is pumped out. Naturally, it is recommended to equip the parking system according to the invention with a backup power source, for example, one or more generators, in order to guarantee uninterrupted operation of the system even in the event of power outages.

Claims (10)

1. An automatic parking system for cars or similar vehicles, comprising:
one or more entry and / or exit terminals (1) in which customers leave their cars for automatic parking and / or from which they pick up their cars;
a parking space (2) that contains annular parking zones (2a, 2b) arranged with mutual radial displacement, which have parking tiers (2a ', 2b') located at two or more levels, mutually offset in the vertical direction and preferably containing radially oriented parking sectors (x) for parking the car, while part (2a ') of the parking tiers is rotatable in the horizontal plane;
a lifting device (3) for moving cars in a vertical direction by means of one or more elevators (3a);
a horizontal movement device (4) for moving cars horizontally, for example in the radial direction, by means of one or more horizontal conveyors (4a);
control and drive automation (5), providing mechanized movement of cars from the entry terminal to the free parking sector (xt) and from the parking sector (xp) to the exit terminal;
automatic equipment (6) for parking supervision and billing, which ensures the registration / issuance of a parking ticket for a client to pick up the car, as well as billing for parking;
and a rotating or stationary central part (8), which is empty or in which means are placed for performing one or more of these operations,
wherein one or more entry and / or exit terminals (1) are equipped with an elevator (3a) and / or a horizontal conveyor (4a),
