Description

The invention relates to the field of packing methods for piece goods and products, and more particularly, to the field of packaging of steel wire rod riots intended for transportation "on riot forming" rolled on steel mills of rolling shops of metallurgical plants and / or combines.
There is a known method of packaging rides of high-grade steel (wire rod), which is a tightening of the riot by radial strands, each of which consists of one or two threads of a packing wire rod or wire, while the strands are evenly distributed across the diameter of the riot [Packaging, marking and documentation of export metal products. V / o "Promsyrieimport", USSR, Moscow, 1977, p. 61, Fig. 736; GOST 7566-94].
However, this known method has several disadvantages:
1. During storage and transportation of wire rod riots “on the generators”, due to the contact of the riot with the floor surface of warehouses, the bottoms and sides of cars or cars, as well as with each other, wire rod coils located along the outer diameter of the riot over the entire width of the riot are injured. Since the technology of forming wire rod riots on high-quality mills provides for winding the wire rod “from end to end”, at which a riot width is formed, damage to the outer turns of the wire rod will be distributed with a certain step along the entire length of the wire rod wound into the riot, and can lead to rejection of everything riot.
2. When loading riots with forklift trucks, bridge cranes using load gripping devices in the form of chains, metric cables and other devices threaded (inserted) into the inner diameter of the riot to raise it, internal turns are injured along the entire width of the riot, with damage the internal turns of the wire rod will also be distributed with a certain step along the entire length of the wire rod wound into a riot, and can lead to the rejection of the entire riot. 3. When transporting wire rod. in open vehicles and storage in open warehouses, wire rod riots packaged in accordance with this known pattern are at risk of corrosion due to atmospheric moisture entering the wire rod.
4. During transportation, especially over long distances and with overload at transshipment points, as a result of mechanical impacts on the ends of riots (shocks, impacts, squeezing, etc.), weakening and subsequent sliding of the radial strands of the packaging wire rod (wire) from its place initial installation on the riot, which in turn will lead to the loss of the shape of the riot and its collapse, due to the relatively loose structure of the riot associated with the technology of its formation on the mill and subsequent units, including including riot compaction and strapping machines.
The closest analogue is the method of packing wire rod riots, which provides for an internal radial strapping of the riot with a wire rod or wire, then wrapping the riot with moisture-proof crepe paper, plastic wrap and packaging cloth, with the latter being inoculated with external strapping [Packaging, marking and documentation of export metal products. However, this known method has the disadvantages of:
1. When storing and transporting wire rod riots “on generators”, due to the contact of the rebel with the floor surface of warehouses, the bottoms and sides of cars or cars, as well as with each other, the packaging fabric can be damaged due to its relatively low strength, which can also lead to damage to the polyethylene films and crepe paper, as well as mechanical injury to the outer turns of the riot across the entire width of the riot. Damage to the plastic film and creped paper can lead to the ingress of atmospheric moisture into the packaging and, as a result, to corrosion of the wire rod.
2. When loading riots using forklifts, bridge cranes using load gripping devices in the form of chains, metal cables and other devices threaded (inserted) into the inner diameter of the riot to raise it, the packaging fabric due to the relatively low strength can be damaged in the inner diameter of the riot , which can also lead to damage to the plastic film and crepe paper, as well as to mechanical injury to the inner turns of the riot across the entire width of the riot. In addition, end coils of riots can be injured by chains and metal cables when raising a riot, as well as by the tips of the forks of the loader if they inaccurately get into the hole of the riot. Also, damage to the plastic film and creped paper can lead to the ingress of atmospheric moisture into the packaging and, as a result, to the corrosion of wire rod.
3. The outer strapping of the riot in the form of twine or wire, as well as the number of these strapping, in combination with a weak outer packaging shell in the form of fabric, do not provide the necessary reliability of fixing the outer packaging materials (packaging fabric) on the riot, and also does not provide the necessary form rigidity riot.
The technical task is to ensure, during loading, transportation and storage of wire rod riots "on the generators", the following conditions (results):
- maintaining the shape of rebellion;
- protection of external, internal and end turns of wire rod from mechanical damage;
- protection of wire rod from contact with atmospheric moisture and, as a consequence, eliminating the likelihood of corrosion of wire rod.
The stated technical problem is solved by the fact that in the method of packing wire rod riots, including installing internal radial strands of the riot, wrapping the riot with plastic film from the outside with bending the film at the ends and in the riot hole, installing external bundle rips, in contrast to the closest analogue, on top of the polyethylene the films install a protective metal sheet around the outer circumference of the riot, on the circumference of the sheet establish external strapping, on the mating surfaces of the ends of the riot and the protective metallic metal corrugated corners are installed on the sheet, which are tied around the circumference with external strapping, in addition, plastic sheets are installed in the rip hole on the upper and lower semicircles, and external radial strapping is installed on the riot, while all external strapping connections are made using locks, grooves or spot welding .
The method of packaging a wire rod riot, as claimed in the present invention, consists in packing a wire rod riot according to a packaging scheme, which is a set of packaging elements installed in a specific sequence and quantity, in the process of packaging a riot, into its individual parts.
The invention is illustrated in the drawing, where figure 1 shows a packing diagram of a wire rod rebellion, including the following elements:

Each element of the packaging scheme is installed on the riot in a certain sequence:
1.1. On the riot 1 (figure 1) set the inner radial strapping 2 riots, consisting of a strapping wire or wire, with a uniform arrangement of strapping around the circumference of the riot, for the initial (preliminary) strapping of the riot when it is issued from high-quality rolling mill. As a rule, strapping the riot with internal radial strands of wire rod and wire is carried out on compaction and strapping machines of riots, and is designed to preserve the shape of the riot when it is transferred from the mill to the packaging site
1.2. A riot tied with a packing wire rod or wire is wrapped with plastic film 3 around the circumference from the outside, after which the film allowance from the ends of the riot is bent at the ends and into the riot hole. A plastic film is designed to protect the riot from the ingress of atmospheric moisture during transportation and storage.
1.3. On top of the polyethylene film, a protective packing metal sheet 4 is installed on the outer diameter of the riot along the outer circumference of the riot - to protect the outer circumference of the riot from mechanical damage, as well as to give additional rigidity to the riot in the radial direction.
1.4. On top of the protective metal sheet, around the circumference, the riot is tied with external strapping 7a from a steel packaging tape, with a connection of 8 tapes by means of packaging locks, or perforated joints, or spot welding, to fix the metal sheet on the riot from unwinding, as well as to give additional rigidity riot in the radial direction
1.5. On the mating surfaces of the ends of the riot and. two metal corrugated angle 5 are installed on the protective metal sheet to protect the ends of the riot from mechanical damage during loading, unloading and transportation, as well as to fix the protective metal packing sheet installed on the outer diameter of the riot over the plastic film, from unwinding and radial and axial shifts on the riot.
1.6. On top of the corrugated corners, around the circumference, the riot is tied with external strappings 76 of steel packaging tape, with the connection of 8 tapes by means of packaging locks, or perforated joints, or spot welding, to fix the corrugated corner on the riot from unwinding in the radial direction, as well as to give additional rigidity to the riot in the radial direction.
1.7. Two plastic sheets 6 are installed in the riot hole across the entire width of the riot, the upper of which is designed to protect the internal turns of the riot from mechanical damage during loading and unloading operations and to press the joint of the plastic film to the upper semicircle of the surface of the riot hole, and the lower one to compress the joint of the plastic film to the lower semicircle of the riot hole surface.
1.8. The riot is tied with external radial strapping 7c from a steel packaging tape, with a connection of 8 tapes by means of packaging locks, or perforated joints, or spot welding, with the aim of:
- fixing corrugations at the ends of the riot from axial shifts;
- giving additional rigidity to the riot in the axial direction;
- fixing plastic "sheets in the upper and lower semicircles of the riot hole.
The advantages of packaging a riot packaged by the proposed method are as follows:
When the wire rod rip is raised by a forklift, the fork forks are inserted into the riot hole, after which the rider rises, while the forks do not come in contact with the wire rod, but with the protective plastic sheet of the upper semicircle of the riot, which protects the inner turns of the riot from damage. If chains or metal cables are used to load riots, threaded into the riot’s hole to raise it, the top sheet of plastic also protects the riot coils from mechanical damage, in addition, the ends of the riot are protected from direct contact with chains or ropes by a vertical (corrugated) metal shelf corrugated corner. The corrugated corner also protects the end of the riot from damage by the tips of the forks of the loader in case of possible accidental misses (inaccurate hits) of the forks of the loader in the riot hole.
When placing riots on solid surfaces of floors of warehouses, bottoms of cars or railway cars, as well as when stacking riots, the metal protective packing sheet, which, in accordance with the packaging scheme, wraps the riot in outer diameter, protects the outer turns of the riot from mechanical damage.
In case of end impacts on riots during their transportation in vehicles, or during transshipment operations, storage of riots at transshipment points or final delivery points, such packing elements of the packaging scheme as a metal protective packing sheet on the outer diameter of the riot, metal corrugated corners at the ends of the riot, and hauling the riot with steel packing tapes around the circumference and along the radius of the riot, ensure that the rider is more rigid in shape, not allowing the layers of the riot to move relative to the other g of a friend, and as a result, slide the radial harnesses from a wire rod (wire) from the original place of their installation on rebound knitting machines when tying riots on the mill. Thus, the collapse of riots does not occur.
When transporting wire rod riots in open vehicles or storage in open warehouses, the plastic film wrapping the wire rod riot prevents the ingress of atmospheric moisture onto the wire rod and reduces the likelihood of atmospheric corrosion of the wire rod metal.
An example of a specific implementation.
1.1. At the preliminary stage of packaging, usually performed on compaction and strapping machines of riots in the line of a high-grade rolling mill, four internal radial strands are installed on the wire bundle, consisting of a strapping wire or wire ⌀ 6-7 mm in one or two threads each, with a uniform arrangement strapping around the riot, that is, at an angle of 90 ° with respect to each other. At the same time, tying in two strands ensures a more reliable retention of the shape of the riot both when it is transferred from the mill to the packaging site, and during further operations with the riot up to the consumer.
1.2. A riot tied with a packing wire rod or wire is wrapped around the circumference from the outside with a plastic film of a thickness of at least 0.1 mm, tensile strength of at least 140 kgf / cm 2 , elongation at break of at least 360%, after which the film allowance from the ends of the riot is bent the ends and into the riot hole, with the overlap of the ends of the film not less than 200 mm in the riot hole to exclude the possibility of moisture penetrating the riot through the junction of the film. The film thickness of not less than 0.1 mm, tensile strength of not less than 140 kgf / cm 2 and elongation at break of not less than 360% provide the necessary film strength when it is rubbed against the revolutions of the riot or on the strapping wire rod during loading and unloading and transportation.
1.3. A protective packaging metal sheet with a thickness of at least 0.5 mm around the outer circumference of the riot is installed on top of the outer diameter of the riot on top of the plastic film, to protect the outer circumference of the riot from mechanical damage, as well as to give additional rigidity to the riot in the radial direction. A sheet thickness of at least 0.5 mm provides the necessary mechanical strength of the sheet, which maintains integrity (does not deform and does not tear) during mechanical impacts from the outside, during loading and unloading, storage and transportation, and therefore protects the plastic film and wire rod from mechanical stress and damage.
1.4. On top of the protective metal sheet, around the circumference, the riot is tied with external strapping from a steel packaging tape with a high-strength cross section of 0.8 × 32 mm, which has the necessary strength and maintains its integrity under mechanical loads (temporary tensile strength at break of at least 950 N / mm 2 , relative elongation at the base length of the sample 100 mm - not less than 7.5%), with the connection of tapes by means of packaging locks, or grooved joints, or spot welding, to fix the metal sheet on the riot from unwinding, and that It is to provide additional rigidity rebellion in the radial direction.
1.5. On the mating surfaces of the ends of the riot and the protective metal sheet, a metal corrugated angle having dimensions (AxBxC) of 1 ÷ 1.2 × 70 × 200 mm is installed, where

1.6. On top of the corrugated corners, around the circumference, the riot is tied with external strands of high-strength tape packing packaging with a cross section of 0.8 × 32 mm, which has the necessary strength and maintains its integrity under mechanical loads (temporary tensile strength at break of at least 950 N / mm 2 , elongation at the base the length of the sample is 100 mm - not less than 7.5%), with the connection of tapes by means of packaging locks, or perforated joints, or spot welding, for fixing the corrugated corner on the riot from unwinding in the radial direction, as well as to provide additional rigidity rebellion in the radial direction.
1.7. Two plastic sheets are installed in the riot hole along the entire width of the riot, each of which has a thickness of at least 3 mm and a length equal to the width of the riot, while the sheets are installed on the upper and lower semicircles of the riot hole, from end to end. The upper plastic sheet is designed to protect the internal revolt turns from mechanical damage during loading and unloading operations and to press the junction of the polyethylene film to the upper semicircle of the surface of the riot hole, and the lower one to press the junction of the polyethylene film to the lower semicircle of the surface of the riot hole.
1.8. The riot is tied with external radial strapping from a steel packaging tape with a high-strength cross section of 0.8 × 32 mm, which has the necessary strength and maintains its integrity under mechanical loads (the tensile strength of the tape at break of at least 950 N / mm 2 , the relative elongation at the base length of the sample is 100 mm - at least 7.5%), with the connection of tapes by means of packaging locks, or perforated joints, or spot welding, with the aim of:
- fixing corrugations at the ends of the riot from axial shifts;
- giving additional rigidity to the riot in the axial direction;
- fixing plastic sheets in the upper and lower semicircles of the riot hole.
Rods of wire rod, packed in accordance with the proposed method of packaging, are delivered to end consumers without deviations in the shape of the riots, as well as without mechanical damage and corrosion, which ensures high quality of wire rod and its compliance with the specifications declared by the manufacturers.
