SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions for making enamel coating on ceramic articles, including ceramic articles for general use. The mixture for making enamel coating contains the following in wt %: frit 43.0-51.0; mullite 25.0-30.0; quartzite 15.0-20.0; kaolin 2.0-5.0; borax glass 2.0-5.0. The mixture has heat endurance of not less than 25 thermal cycles (heating to 450°C - cooling on air).

EFFECT: high heat resistance of the enamel coating.

Возможно дополнительное введение окрашивающих добавок (пиролюзита, оксида кобальта и др.) в количестве 0,5-5% (сверх 100%). Из полученной массы готовят суспензию с влажностью 40-60%.
