Wellcome Foundation Ltd Herts.-England, 1983).The closest in effectiveness to the claimed method is the use of the drug "Zovirax" containing as an active principle acyclovir. The cream is used to treat a wide range of infections caused by Herpes simplex and Herpes zoster viruses (Zovirax (acyclovir). Herpesvirus diseases. Wellcome Foundation Ltd Herts.-England, 1983).
The disadvantage of the prototype should include the need for high concentrations of expensive active substance.
The objective of the invention is to expand the arsenal of funds for the treatment of diseases caused by the herpes virus by creating a new highly effective and inexpensive method of treatment.
The technical result in this case is to provide treatment for viral diseases caused by the herpes virus.
The technical result is achieved by a method of treating viral diseases caused by the herpes virus using medicinal compositions containing 1,3-diethylbenzimidazolium triiodide as an active substance.
Obtaining compositions for the implementation of this method containing 1,3-diethylbenzimidazolium triiodide can be carried out as follows.
