Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to medicine and can be used in surgery for wound healing, including chronic, long non-healing wounds, trophic ulcers, erysipelas, refractory to treatment by traditional methods.
A known method of obtaining funds "Argolite" for the treatment of infected wounds (see the description of patent RU No. 2245151. Published on January 27, 2005, Bull. No. 3). This method consists in impregnating finely ground zeolite with a solution of silver salt, followed by drying. The result is a zeolite powder that contains silver metal particles on the outer and inner surfaces. Treatment is carried out by applying a thin layer of the obtained powder to the surface of the wound.
Possessing a nonspecific action at the level of seeded cell processes, silver blocks sulfhydryl groups of enzyme systems of pathogenic microorganisms. In addition, interacting with nucleic acid molecules, silver leads to inhibition of the growth and reproduction of microorganisms.
However, the effectiveness of the effect of silver-modified zeolite on pathogenic microflora depends on the concentration of silver and the area of contact with the bacterial environment, as well as the application of a thin layer of powder on a large wound surface is not very convenient and time-consuming, require a large amount of dressing material.
Closest to the claimed is a method of obtaining funds for external use in the complex treatment of skin-allergic diseases and inflammatory processes of the mucous membranes and oral cavity, including for the treatment of wounds (see description of patent RU No. 2074723. Published on March 10, 1997, Bull. No. 7). In the proposed method, the crushed mineral shungite with a fraction size of 5-20 mm is poured with drinking water in a ratio of 1: 1 by volume, they are held together at room temperature for 2-3 days and then wound surfaces are treated with this infusion.
Mineral shungite is the oldest carbon-containing mineral having an unusual carbon matrix. Molecules of this carbon look like a soccer ball and are called fullerenes. Shungite carbon has a high chemical activity in redox processes. (“The Shungites of Karelia and the Ways of Their Complex Use”, edited by V. A. Sokolov and Yu.K. Kalinin, Petrozavodsk, “Karelia”, 1975).
Prolonged contact of water with the shungite mineral leads to water structuring due to the action of the energy field of the mineral itself on the water. The resulting infusion of mineral salts (K, Ca, Mn, S, Se, etc.) and organic compounds acquires special properties: it actively destroys pathogenic microflora and promotes the effective absorption of the components contained in it through the skin. Shungite water is biologically active and affects the body in many ways. It has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, bactericidal and antihistamine properties and does not cause side effects.
The disadvantages of the prototype are the duration of the healing process, the likelihood of secondary infectious complications.
The objective of the invention is the creation of an effective therapeutic agent, with higher antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, decongestant and antihistamine properties.
The technical result consists in reducing the healing time of various infected wounds, including long non-healing ones that do not respond for several months to treatment with known means, as well as in the elimination of secondary infectious complications, which reduces the patient’s time in hospital and, therefore, reduce the cost of treatment.
This is achieved by the fact that in the known method of obtaining funds for the treatment of infected wounds, which consists in grinding the shungite mineral to a fraction size of 5-10 mm and placing it in drinking water with holding them together at room temperature for 3 days, while placing the mineral Shungite in drinking water is carried out at a ratio of 1: 15-1: 20 by volume, and the resulting infusion is drained and saturated with colloidal silver ions to a concentration of 5000 μg / L, followed by the addition of 15-30 vol.% of Australian tea tree essential oil 100%. The shungite mineral is placed in drinking water purified according to TU 0131-002-29317930-05.

In the next 3 days, 5 times a day, the wipes were moistened with the proposed tool, without loosening. After removing the dressing on the 4th day, it is evident that there is an active healing of the ulcer. Conducted re-application of wipes moistened with the proposed tool, followed by wetting 5 times a day. This technique was used for 16 days, healing occurred by secondary intention without infection.
Example 5: Patient P., 44, the diagnosis of erysipelas of the lower leg. Against the background of antibiotic therapy, the patient underwent treatment of the inflamed area of the skin with the proposed agent. Recovery came in 15 days.
The examples of the use of the proposed drug in the category of patients with various infected wounds indicate its positive effect on the course of the wound process in the presence of infection. Patients achieved complete healing of wounds without complications and relapses of the infectious process. It is logical to assume that the “transport” ability of tea tree oil, which facilitates penetration into the wound surface and through the skin of the healing components of schungite water saturated with colloidal silver ions, promotes rapid healing.
Thus, the proposed method allows to obtain an effective tool for the treatment of infected wounds, including long nonhealing, not responding for several months to treatment by known methods. It is relatively inexpensive, does not cause allergies, has no contraindications, has high antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, decongestant and sorption properties. The use of the proposed tool significantly reduces the risk of surgical intervention (Example 1). The consumption of dressings is reduced, the work of medical staff is facilitated. Using the proposed tool allows you to simplify and reduce quantitatively manipulations in the wound, which is important for the patient and the medical staff. The patient has the opportunity to independently, throughout the day, moisten the wipes with the proposed tool both in the hospital and at home. The terms of wound healing are physiological. The period of the patient’s stay in hospital is reduced, due to which the cost of treatment is reduced, the total period of incapacity for work for this type of disease is reduced.
