SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a tuyere for blasting of melts and is dealt with the field of metallurgy, in particular, with a design of tuyeres for blasting of melts by a gaseous agent in metallurgical furnaces of jet-oxidative type. A tuyere for blasting of melts is installed horizontally in a lateral wall of a metallurgical furnace and contains concentrically located pipes with blasting heads forming ducts for feeding of a blasting agent, delivery and withdrawal of cooling water, a circulation chamber located in a base of a tuyere tip. The tuyere has a cistern for water intake installed at an inlet of water in a tuyere and a vacuum pump installed at its outlet. A water tip is placed inside the furnace and has 8-15 through longitudinal holes. Blasting head is located in a lateral wall of a tuyere tip at an angle of α=110-120° to a longitudinal axis of the tuyere. A cockle of a tuyere tip is made dead. The technical result of the invention is a decrease of consumption of water used for cooling, an increase of a tuyere operational reliability and provision of independence of height of a shop structure from a tuyere design.
EFFECT: the invention allows to decrease consumption of water used for cooling, to increase a tuyere operational reliability and provision of independence of a height of a shop structure from a tuyere design.

Description

The present invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to the design of tuyeres for blowing the melt with a gaseous agent in metallurgical jet-oxidizing furnaces.
A lance is known that contains a housing with a gas supply hole, a guide fixedly mounted in the housing, a set of interchangeable tools (Smelting of copper-nickel-containing raw materials in Vanyukov furnaces, Technological instruction, part 1, TI 44577806.14.55-27-2000, OJSC Norilsk Gornaya company ", 2000, p. 61-63, section 5.3, fig. 12a, b). The specified lance is designed for submerged supply of blast into a slag-matte melt and cannot work in an unloaded condition.
The following tuyeres are known for submerged melt blowing:
- lance of a vertical converter (V.I. Korotich, S.G. Bratchikov. Metallurgy of ferrous metals. - M.: Metallurgy, - 1987, Fig. 56, p. 147-148), containing concentrically arranged pipes forming ducts for feeding gaseous agent, supply and removal of cooling water and connected to the tip;
- a lance for blowing metal (RU 2112048, 05.27.1998, C 21 C 5/48), containing concentrically arranged pipes for oxygen supply, supply and removal of a cooler, an end head consisting of an external and an internal plate connected at an angle to the longitudinal the lance axis with Laval nozzles and an axial nozzle with a cylindrical channel.
These tuyeres for an unloaded submerged blowing of melts by a gas agent require a high flow rate of water for cooling, a large height of the workshop structure and are not sufficiently reliable during operation.
The prototype of the claimed invention is a lance for purging a molten metal (RU 2181384, 12.27.2000, C 21 C 5/48), mounted vertically, containing concentrically arranged pipes that form paths for supplying a purging agent, supply and removal of cooling water, and mounted on pipes by means of adapters, a tip with blasting inclined nozzles and a circulation cooling chamber formed by inner and outer plates equipped with a rod coupler and a separator placed between them.
The disadvantages of the lance prototype are: high water consumption for cooling, the need for a large height of the building of the workshop and lack of operational reliability.
The technical result of the invention is to reduce water consumption for cooling, increase operational reliability and independence of the height of the shop structure from the structure of the lance.
The technical result is achieved in that the lance for blowing the melt installed in the furnace, containing concentrically arranged pipes forming ducts for supplying a blowing agent with a blast nozzle, supply and removal of cooling water, the circulation chamber located at the base of the tip, is characterized in that the lance is equipped with a water withdrawal tank installed at the water inlet to the tuyere and a vacuum pump at the outlet and is installed horizontally in the side wall of the furnace, the tuyere tip being placed inside the furnace and made with 8-15 through longitudinal holes, and the blow nozzle is located in the side wall of the tip at an angle α = 110-120 ° to the longitudinal axis of the lance, and the cap of the tip is made blind.

The lance contains: 1 - an external pipe; 2 - an intermediate pipe; 3 - an internal pipe; 4 - a path for supplying cooling water; 5 - a path for draining cooling water; 6 - a path for supplying a purge agent; 7 - tip; 8 - blow nozzle; 9 - through longitudinal drilling; 10 - circulation chamber; 11 - a deaf cap; 12 - tank; 13 - a vacuum pump; 14 - side wall of the furnace.
The angle of the blasting nozzle α = 110-120 ° to the longitudinal axis of the lance for blowing the melt is determined by the desire on the one hand to remove the high-temperature blast crater from the furnace wall and prevent its destruction, and on the other, to maintain high absorption of the blowing agent by the melt.
At α <110 °, the high-temperature blast crater is geometrically close to the side wall of the furnace (14). The temperature of the blast crater is above 2000 ° C, which causes thermal destruction of the side wall (14). At α> 120 °, the absorption of the gas agent decreases.
Through longitudinal holes (9) are required to drain the cooling water. The number of longitudinal holes (9) less than 8 increase hydraulic resistance, and more than 15 increase costs in the manufacture of lances.
The main part of the lance design for melt blowing is drawn from a set of three standard steel pipes (1, 2, 3), concentrically falling into one another. Water flows from the reservoir (12) through the inner pipe (3) due to the vacuum created by the vacuum pump (13). The path for supplying the purge agent (6) is formed by the inner pipe (3) and the intermediate pipe (2). This path (6) ends with a nozzle (8), made in a turned copper tip (7), and its axis is directed at an angle of 110-120 ° to the longitudinal axis of the lance. The water in the path for supplying cooling water (4), surrounded by the flow of the purge agent of the path (6), maintains the initial minimum temperature and at this temperature enters the circulation chamber (10) at maximum speed and hits the blind cap (11). In this case, the maximum cooling rate of this part is achieved. From the cavity of the deaf cap (11), water rushes through the through longitudinal holes (9) into the path for water drainage (5). The assembly of pipes (1, 2, 3), ferrule (7) and blind cap (11) is carried out on threaded connections.
A lance for blowing the melt is installed horizontally in the furnace wall (14) above the melt, which ensures independence of the height of the workshop structure from the lance. Inside the furnace there is only a lance tip (7) and a blind cap (11), the cooling of which requires a significantly lower consumption of cooling water in contrast to the prototype lance. The horizontal position and low hydraulic resistance of the lance create the conditions for the operation of the lance under vacuum. For this purpose, the lance is equipped with a reservoir (12) for water extraction, installed at the inlet of the lance, from which the water circulates through the lance, due to the vacuum created by the vacuum pump (13) installed at the outlet of the lance, cooling it, which increases operational reliability.
