SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of replacement of charge vertical plate coolers of a blast furnace. The invention is pertinent to the iron and steel industry, in particular, to methods of repair of burned down charge vertical plate coolers of a blast furnace. The method of replacement of a cooler includes cutting of its jacket along a contour of a cooling plate, welding of metal sheets along the plate perimeter, indentation of the formed box by lifting jacks inside the furnace by Ѕ of the width of the sheets, burning the fixing bolts and cooling pipes out, installation of plugs on their places and weld-in a new patch of the jacket with cooling pipes, removal of mounting gusset plates and pushing through of the box by lifting jacks and welding the patch in, filling up the inner cavity of the new cooler with a refractory mixture. The total pressing force of the lifting jacks exceeds a lateral pressure of the charge materials. The invention allows to reduce a repair duration due to performance of works without a blowing-out of a charge and to increase service life of the blast furnace.
EFFECT: reduced duration of repair, increased service life of the blast furnace.

Description

The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular to methods for repairing burnt vertical stove refrigerators of a blast furnace cooling system.
Known methods for replacing horizontal plate coolers of the mine on a stopped blast furnace without blowing the charge [1, p.231-233]. For the possibility of replacement, the back of the plate is equipped with protrusions for removing the refrigerator from the lining [2]. A known method of repairing a refrigerator by installing on the surface of the casing “pocket” of a metal box filled with refractory concrete [3, p.219].
Known vertical plate refrigerators smooth wall construction [4, p. 84, 88] and with a ribbed working surface with a covered refractory brick [1, p. 157, 252; 5, p. 49], the replacement of which is carried out at major repairs with lowering the level of charge charge below the defective plates. Burnt refrigerators are removed from the furnace and installed on the inner surface of the casing using hydraulic jacks [6, p. 33; 7].
The disadvantage of this method of replacing refrigerators is the need for long furnace stops with large losses in pig iron production and excessive fuel consumption in preparation for stopping and when the furnace is blown. As a rule, these works are carried out on overhauls of the second category [8, p. 483-486] after the failure of a significant number of refrigerators in the lower part of the mine.
It is known to use a hydraulic jack with a vibrator with a force of 25-30 tons to extract burnt refrigerators [9]. The maximum pressure in the jack on the refrigerator is equal to the design strength of the support beam.
Of the known closest to the invention by technical essence is a method of replacing refrigerators with fire-cutting casing 1/8 of the perimeter of the furnace with welding of new sheets with installed refrigerators [10, p. 28] during the overhaul.
This method significantly reduces the repair time, however, due to the cooling of the internal space of the furnace due to a decrease in the level of mash of charge materials, cracking of most other refrigerators not protected by refractory masonry occurs. The duration of the campaign of the furnace after restoration repairs was 1.2 years [11, p.128].
The technical result of the proposed method is to reduce the time for repair and replacement of burned refrigerators without partial blowing of the furnace and the extension of the campaign to 8-10 years.
The specified technical result is achieved by the fact that during the current repairs, the furnace cover is cut along the contour of the stove of the replaced vertical refrigerator, the sheets are welded along its perimeter with the formation of a box, which is pressed with jacks into the furnace at 1/2 sheet width, they are fixed to the furnace cover with mounting scarves, burn the mounting bolts and cooling tubes from the replaced refrigerator and install plugs in their place, weld a new patch of the casing with cooling tubes to the side sheets of the box, remove the mounting scarves, push the box with jacks, weld the patch flush with the casing of the furnace, forming a new refrigerator, the inner cavity of which is filled with a refractory mixture.
In this case, the total force of indentation of the hydraulic jacks is determined by preliminary measurement of the coefficient of active weight and lateral pressure of the charge on the stopped furnace.
A comparative analysis of the proposed solution with the prototype shows that the proposed method differs from the known one in that the replacement of a burnt refrigerator is not associated with partial blowing of the furnace and lowering of the charge, can be carried out at a convenient time, avoiding local overheating of the shaft casing and the destruction of the weakened refractory lining of nearby areas by flow smelting materials.
The intermediate fastening of the box to a width of less than 1/2 of the side sheets creates an unstable position of the refrigerator and requires more careful fastening it to the casing with scarves, which increases the downtime of the furnace.
Fastening the box to a width of more than 1/2 of the side sheets creates the inconvenience of welding the batten to the side sheets of the box and also increases the duration of the furnace shutdown.
Figure 1 presents a fragment of the initial moment (preparation) of replacing a burned up vertical refrigerator, figure 2 is a fragment of the installation latki, figure 3 is a fragment of the final replacement of a burned refrigerator with a new one.
The proposed method for replacing burnt vertical stovetop refrigerators of the mine is implemented on a blast furnace with a useful volume of 2000 m 3 , equipped with a device for controlling the active weight of the charge and embrasures for measuring gas pressure drops.
The casing 5 was cut along the contour of the burned-out refrigerating plate 1 in the 5th row of the shaft, making a fire cut 7, and sheets 6 of 09G2S steel 150 mm wide and 20 mm thick equal to the thickness of the refrigerator were welded along the perimeter of the cut-out plate. Then, the resulting box was pressed into the furnace 75 mm from the casing by two jacks 2 with a force of 200 t each, and the box was secured to the casing 5 with mounting kerchiefs 10. The jacks 2 are installed in the support beams 3 fixed in the beds 4 and welded to the casing 5. When During installation, two hydraulic jacks were used with almost double excess of the horizontal load to overcome the friction forces in the gaps and seal the charge materials when the refrigerator was pressed in. The force of the indentation of the jacks was determined by first measuring the coefficient of active weight and lateral pressure of the charge. Fixing bolts and cooling tubes 12 were burnt out of the replaced refrigerator and corks made of sheet material were installed in their place. Welded a new patch 8 of the casing, made of the same steel grade 09G2S with cooling tubes 9 to the side sheets of the box. Then the mounting fastening kerchiefs 10 were removed and the box was pushed with jacks 2, the patch 8 was welded flush with the furnace casing, and the internal cavity of the newly formed refrigerator was filled with refractory mixture 13 through the nozzle 14. The refractory mixture consists of 50% metal shavings and 50% concrete. The pipe 15 serves to control the completeness of the pouring concrete.
For safe melting of the refrigeration plate, before blowing the furnace, an air lance was closed above the replaced refrigerator for a period of 8 hours of residence time of materials in the furnace.

Claims (2)

1. A method of replacing vertical plate coolers in a mine shaft of a blast furnace, including firing a cut of the furnace casing, characterized in that during the period of ongoing repairs, the furnace casing is cut along the contour of the plate of the replaced vertical refrigerator, sheets are welded along its perimeter, with the formation of a box that is pressed with jacks inside the furnace 1/2 the width of the sheets, fasten it to the casing of the furnace with mounting scarves, burn out the mounting bolts and cooling tubes from the replaced refrigerator, and install corks in their place, weld a new patch at the casing with cooling tubes to the side sheets of the box, remove the mounting scarves, push the box with jacks, weld the patch flush with the casing of the furnace, forming a new refrigerator, the inner cavity of which is filled with a refractory mixture.
2. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the pressing force of the hydraulic jacks is determined by preliminary measurement of the coefficient of active weight and lateral pressure of the charge on the stopped furnace.
