Abstract

FIELD: manufacture of porous articles of wire. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preliminarily coiling non-woven wire material to helix; forming tangled blank of said helix; placing it on central rod of press-mold and pressing until predetermined density of wire material; before pressing feeding wire helix by batches into closed inner cavity of press-mold and periodically upsetting formed tangled blank onto extended central rod until complete embracing of said rod by tangled blank and as filling press-mold with predetermined quality of material cutting fed helix. Apparatus for making porous articles of non-woven wire material includes press-mold in the form of central cylindrical rod and concentrically arranged relative to it cylinder and punch. Cylinder has lateral grooves in its upper portion. In lower portion cylinder has cover with central opening for placing cylindrical rod with pointed apex. Punch is provided with collet chuck concentrically arranged inside it. Punch, collet chuck, cover and cylindrical rod are mounted with possibility of separate axial motion. EFFECT: simplified process for making porous articles with use of such method and apparatus. 2 cl, 7 dwg

Description

 The invention relates to methods and devices for the manufacture of porous wire products, namely, elastic damping elements (UDE) from wire spirals, mainly rings.
 There is a known method of manufacturing UDEs, in which the wire spiral is pre-stretched, wound on the central core of the mold at a certain angle to its axis, or inlaid with mutual crossing of the spiral, and then the roll (tangle) thus obtained is installed into the mold and subjected to pressing ( SU 997931 A1, 02.23.1983).
 The disadvantage of this method is the difficulty of laying the spiral on the rod, especially on the periphery, where there is a change in the angle of winding and all the turns of the spiral are directed perpendicular to the axis of the rod. This leads to the fact that the coils of the spiral do not interlock with each other, there is a "dissolution" of the wire material, and it is not fixed in the laid position. Therefore, the process of laying the spiral is done manually.
 A device for the manufacture of porous products from wire material containing a mold in the form of a removable central cylindrical rod for winding a wire spiral and a concentric cylinder with it (SU 592055 A1, 04/10/2001). A disadvantage of the known device is its low productivity.
 The technical result of the invention is to simplify the process (method) for the manufacture of porous products from wire material.
 The technical result is achieved by the fact that in the method of manufacturing porous products, mainly rings, from non-woven wire material, in which the latter is pre-rolled into a spiral, then the resulting spiral is formed into a tangle, placed on the central core of the mold and pressed according to the specified density of the wire material, according to the invention, the wire spiral is pressed into portions of the mold before being pressed in portions, and periodically the deposition of the formed trench is carried out by sliding aemy central rod until its complete coverage thread waste, and as the filling of the mold a predetermined amount of material supplied to produce stump helix.
 The technical result is also achieved by the fact that the device for manufacturing porous products from non-woven wire material containing a mold in the form of a central cylindrical rod and a cylinder concentrically located relative to it, according to the invention further comprises a punch concentrically located relative to the rod, the cylinder has located in its upper part side grooves, in the lower part of the cylinder is provided with a cover with a central hole in which the cylindrical rod is located, peaked, and the punch is provided with a collet concentrically located inside it, while the punch, collet, cap and cylindrical rod are made with the possibility of independent mutual axial movement.
 The invention is illustrated by drawings. Figure 1 shows a device for the manufacture of porous products from non-woven wire material, and in fig. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 - sequential movement of the executive bodies of the device.
 The device consists of a cylinder 1 having side grooves 2 located in the upper part of the cylinder. The cylinder at the bottom is closed by a cover 3 with a central hole, inside of which there is a pointed cylindrical rod 4. On top of the cylinder is a punch 5, inside of which a collet 6 is concentrically located, which is an elastic sleeve with longitudinal slots. The punch, collet, cover and rod have the possibility of independent mutual axial movement (their drive conditionally not shown).
 A device for implementing the method works as follows.
 The wire is one of the known methods is wound into a wire spiral 7 with a given diameter and winding pitch. The spiral is alternately fed in portions through the lateral grooves 2 in the cylinder 1 into the closed internal cavity of the cylinder 1. Under the action of elastic forces, the spiral 7 is freely and uniformly distributed over the cylinder volume, forming an intertwined wire material - tangle 8. As the free space of cylinder 1 is filled, tangle 8 is purposefully moves down onto the pointed pointed rod 4 with the help of the collet 6, which performs reciprocating movements. The collet reciprocating movement is necessary to exclude the collet the possibility of jamming the tangle in the resulting gaps and for the gradual uniform redistribution of the tangle in volume. Thus, the rod 4 pierces the tangle 8 through. After the tip of the rod 4 comes out of the trench 8 when moving the collet 6 due to its flexibility, the collet grips the conical surface 9 of the rod 4 and the torsion is gradually pushed onto the cylindrical surface 10 of the rod 4 until it is completely covered by a trowel, which is held on the rod 4 by friction forces.
 Depending on the thickness of the workpiece, the above cycle can be repeated several times.
 After supplying a certain amount of wire spiral 7 to the cylinder 1 in the last cycle, the punch 5 is lowered, which, with its sharp edges, interacting with the sharp edges of the grooves 2 of cylinder 1, produces a piece of wire spirals 7.
 The axial movement of the punch 5 is pressed pressing in the UDE 11 of the required volume. In order to avoid the possibility of individual wires falling into the gap between the punch 5 and the rod 4, they are moved together after rapprochement.
 Made UDE can be removed by pushing the punch 5 after returning the rod 4 to the lower position and opening the cylinder 1 and the cover 3.
 The advantage of this device is the simplification of the method of manufacturing parts from non-woven wire material, working mainly on compression.

Claims (2)

 1. A method of manufacturing porous products, mainly rings, of non-woven wire material, in which the latter is pre-rolled into a spiral, then the resulting spiral is formed into a tangle, placed on the central core of the mold and pressed to a predetermined density of the wire material, characterized in that the wire before pressing, the spiral is fed in portions into the closed internal cavity of the mold, and periodically, the formed tangle is deposited on the extendable central core until it is completely grasping with a trowel and, as the mold is filled with a predetermined amount of material, the feed spiral is cut.
 2. A device for the manufacture of porous products from non-woven wire material containing a mold in the form of a central cylindrical rod and a cylinder concentrically arranged relative to it, characterized in that it further comprises a punch concentrically located relative to the rod, the cylinder has side grooves located in its upper part, in the lower part, the cylinder is equipped with a lid with a central hole in which there is a cylindrical rod made pointed and the punch is equipped with a concentrate the collet located inside it, while the punch, collet, cover and cylindrical rod are made with the possibility of independent mutual axial movement.
